Absolutely amazing case, and well worth the expense.

Fractal Design Define 7 Gray Brushed Aluminum / Steel E-ATX Silent Modular Mid Tower Computer Case
Fractal Design Define 7 Gray Brushed Aluminum / Steel E-ATX Silent Modular Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Nearly everything is perfectly laid out. Lots of space for whatever build you can dream up, and it'll probably have an included mount or arrangement to support whatever you wanted already. Noise dampening material and some nice customization options round out a stellar case. Every single thing in the case feels good, well built and sturdy. I never felt like I was going to break anything as I built my rig.

Cons: The brushed aluminum looks great, but is incredibly easily scratched. My case only went about 10 days before my 5 year old managed to put a deep scratch in a panel. Further, you'll be cleaning the case every single time you touch it, else you'll be seeing your handprints everywhere.

Overall Review: Absolutely fantastic, and highly recommend for anyone sitting on the fence.

6 weeks of troubleshooting and still no reliability

ASUS TUF GAMING Z490-PLUS (WI-FI) LGA 1200 (Intel 10th Gen) Intel Z490 (WiFi 6) SATA 6Gb/s ATX Intel Motherboard (Dual M.2, 12+2 Power Stages, USB 3.2 Front Panel Type-C, Intel WiFi 6 & 1Gb LAN, Aura Sync)
ASUS TUF GAMING Z490-PLUS (WI-FI) LGA 1200 (Intel 10th Gen) Intel Z490 (WiFi 6) SATA 6Gb/s ATX Intel Motherboard (Dual M.2, 12+2 Power Stages, USB 3.2 Front Panel Type-C, Intel WiFi 6 & 1Gb LAN, Aura Sync)

Pros: Board build quality looks and feels good. All the peripherals you'd expect to find. The Wi-Fi is a nice backup if ethernet access is an issue. When the board works, it works well; first power on was fast, the UEFI BIOS has all the features you'd want, and the system is set to go for overclocking if that is your desire.

Cons: I've gone through 3 video cards with this system, and I still continue to get GPU no boot situations. BIOS flashes, part by part breakdowns of the system, replacement GPUs, and nothing improves. Through resetting the CMOS, and multiple attempts at power-on eventually the system will fully boot and operate normally until the next shutdown. ASUS support has been less than helpful, and they're hard to reach.

Overall Review: I've bought ASUS motherboards exclusively for more years now than I want to consider, but the length of issue with this board and trying to get ahold of meaningful support has been tiresome. I'm sure if the board didn't work at all, support would be have been quick; having a system that occasionally works seems to knock down the importance of the assistance. For full disclosure, this is happening during the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic, which likely has made support harder to get ahold of than usual.
