EVGA Z390 FTW Was The Right Choice

Pros: Solid Construction Simplistic Design NO RGB Great BIOS Dual M.2 Drive Support AI Overclocker Works Great
Cons: BCLK will not hold what you set. It says 100 in BIOS but CPU-Z shows it running at 98.7. You can set, save, boot and it will run at 100 until the next shutdown or reboot. Very frustrating! The lower front panel connections are pointing straight down when board is installed in case. I suppose this is great for most cases but I'm using a Fractal Design Define S2 which has a full length PSU cover. This cover makes it almost impossible to get things plugged in. I did not catch this until I had my custom loop installed and it was too late to get the front panel audio cable plugged in. The power/reset/led wires took some real finesse and a pair of needle nose pliers. Think about this if installing into the Define S2 case. This board does not come with a manual. I do miss the manual. An actual book that I can grab, make notes in and dog-ear pages. You will need to download the manual in .pdf
Overall Review: This is my first EVGA motherboard. I decided to stray from Asus for once and see how EVGA does and I have not been disappointed. The BIOS is super easy to navigate. The AI Overclocker put me at 5200MHz and it has been rock solid. However, tweaking things from the AI Overclock settings will get the BIOS a little confused and will usually require resetting to default before moving forward again. I am really happy with my purchase and will be using EVGA boards in the future. And did I forget to mention that it is a simplistic design without any RGB? It has RGB headers if that is your thing though.
Meh...

Pros: Nice mouse for the most part. It seems pretty solid so far. Decent button placement. I like the hyper scroll option for large pages. Being able to adjust the weight of it is a nice feature.
Cons: I have trouble with the wheel button. While gaming you must press the wheel down HARD and HOLD IT or you will be tossing your granade/simtex/hatchet early. This is very annoying and often ends up sticking simtex to the wall directly in front of me and then killing a team mate next to me. Wheel in hyper scroll mode is not balanced at all. Wheel spins very free but is heavier on one side than the other and will scroll down, stop, and then back up as the heavy side of wheel is pulled down by gravity. This is very annoying! I've used the cordless mice for several years now. I decided to try a wired one this time. The cord is shielded with a braided cover that you can feel vibrate on back edge of desk (or any other object that it contacts) as you move the mouse around. It does not fit my grip well. During heated battles it turns slightly in hand and index finger will depress wheel button along with left button. This too is very annoying and again I end up tossing a granade or hatchet when I don't want to.
Overall Review: All in all I would say the mouse is decent but I can't say that I'm very happy with it. I would not buy this model again.
Fantastic Unit

Pros: Easy installation EVGA 1080 Ti FTW3 dropped right in GPU loop required no hose modification going from horizontal to vertical mount I did not encounter the mounting issues that others have. Screw holes lined up and it mounted right in.
Cons: None
Overall Review: I installed this in my Fractal Design Define S2. Vertical GPU gives the system a whole new look with the tempered glass cover. Liquid cooling the GPU means that I don't have cooling issues with the fans being too close to the cover.
Great to work with

Pros: Crystal Clear Easy to work with Very Flexable 'Easy' to install to compression fittings. The use of the word EASY here is subjective. I have used EKWB tubing in the past and this is much easier to work with.
Cons: None
Overall Review: Will use this on my next build
Can't beat Samsung SSD's

Pros: Fast Easy to install Easy to setup OS installed without issue
Cons: None
Overall Review: I'm running a 970 Pro 512GB for OS and a 970 Evo 1TB for programs. Both are solid performers. Highly recommend these drives
