Pros: Plextor drives have always been a favorite of mine. I bought the retail version of this drive over a year ago and it performs flawlessly. I bought the oem version about a month ago for a new build, and it won't read most discs, blu ray or dvd. When it does it's very good.

Cons: Most discs I put in the drive it can't read. The light comes on for a few seconds then goes out. Say's no disc in drive when I click on it. I take the disc out and drop it into my plextor PX-880SA and it reads no problem. This happens with most discs blu ray and dvd, so there is definetly something wrong with this drive. I bought it for a new build, which i didn't build right away and the 30 days for exchange is about to lapse, so now can't even return it. Maybe this is a fluke, I have always bought plextor, even though they cost more, for the quality. Now I'm not so sure.
