Great Video Card!!

SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 4870 1GB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 CrossFireX Support Video Card 100259-1GL
SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 4870 1GB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 CrossFireX Support Video Card 100259-1GL

Pros: Runs everything I'm throwing at it with no issues. World of Warcraft runs at 60 fps with all settings at high besides shadows, which I turn down a couple notches. In a loaded Wintergrasp or in wide open areas (flying over Ice Crown zone), frames can go as low as 30fps... Dalaran is crazy as we all know, so I only get 15-20 fps there. All raid zones, even Ulduar and Naxx are at or around 45-50fps in 25-man. Call of Duty 4 runs everything maxed out with no frame rate issues in single or multi-player online. Both WoW and COD4 look great too. I've been watching the GPU's heat very closely as I've read that can be a concern with this card. The fan auto-adjusts speed depending on load, and I never go above an average at load temp of 51-53C. Once, after playing COD for 5 hours, it was at 60C. So I'm happy to report no real issues there.

Cons: I originally installed Catalyst with the drivers, but I was getting much lower fps in WoW initially. After reading the tech support forums for WoW, it sounds like WoW - among many other applications - doesn't like the Catalyst program. I went from 40fps max in WoW to 60fps in many areas just by uninstalling Catalyst and then re-installing the drivers without Catalyst. Also, hopefully ATI will improve their drivers as it does suffer some frame rate performance issues in those wide open areas I was talking about earlier (i.e., flying over Ice Crown). I've been told by people online with nvidia cards of the same gen as mine that they don't notice a big slow down like I do (from 60fps to 30fps) in that zone. I'm guessing this is driver related as this card has plenty of power to handle these challenges you would think...

Amazing!

Rosewill THOR V2 ATX Full Tower Gaming PC Computer Case, Supports: E-ATX & XL-ATX, 4 Dual-Speed Fans, 10 Expansion Slots

Pros: I'm just amazed by this case. The components in my Thor V2 are barely warm, though I admit it's a pretty ideal cooling setup... mancave with stock CPU (i5 2500k). All fans on low = 30C/60C idle/load for 560 Ti Superclocked edition and 23C/45C for i5 2500k (Coolermaster V8). I jokingly said that since I'm getting married and starting a family I want this one to last forever so I don't need to buy again.... careful what I wish for, this thing should be running for a long time with temps like this. If you have the room for it (it's big), go get it!

Cons: Honestly, not really anything to report here... the rubber groms did come out like everyone says, but only on one of them came off (the one by the power supply when I pulled the motherboard PSU cable through the hole too quickly). Not a big deal to me... just put it right back on with no problems.

Solid Performance and Runs Cool!

Pros: Runs SWTOR at 60fps, everything at high. Based on other reviews, I'm expecting the same from Skyrim. These days, I don't do a TON of gaming, so its nice to have an option for a midrange card like this that gets the job done on my 55" 1080p TV. In my Thor V2 case, I run my system with all fans on low and this card tops out at 60C with the fan getting up to 70%. All fans on high = same temp at about 60% fan.

Cons: Drivers. Use 275 drivers for best results... I don't do betas or I'd try the 290's as they've been getting good reviews. It is a midrange card today, so I'm expecting it to be pretty slow within a year or two with newer titles. Of course by then I'll be able to pick up a second 560 Ti and put them in SLI, so it might work out;-)

Pros: Very happy with this purchase! Crystal Disk Mark gives it just about exactly what Crucial rated it at in my new i5 2500k build with Asus Z68 Pro Gen3 board.

Cons: The price, but I was waiting until SSD's dropped enough for me to spring for a 256GB. At least my $300+ got me more than an OS and one game hard drive is how I look at it.... but yeah, it was still really expensive vs. a conventional HDD.

Overall Review: 10-15 seconds from boot to Windows 7 loaded. Love the SSD experience so far!

Pros: This was actually my first full build, but it made me feel like a pro! Very good instructions helped me get it up and running very quickly. It detected my DVD drive, hard drive, CPU, memory and video card without issues. I have yet to have one BSOD, so the system has been very stable to say the obvious!

Cons: None!
