Patriot Xporter XT Rage 16GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive Model PEF16GRUSB
Patriot Xporter XT Rage 16GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive Model PEF16GRUSB

Pros: This little guy is extremely fast. Best flash I've ever owned by far. I use it to hold movies to plug into my WD TV Live HD plus. Since the most of the files are between 4-8gb files, I formatted it to NTSC. I would rather it be exfat32, so I could put 12-13gb files on it, but the WD TV LIVE doesn't read exfat32, which I discovered through trial and error, but this drive copies files in all 3 formats with great speed. It only takes 10-15min to fill it completely, at 14.9gb formatted to NTSC, which is incredible compared to my previous PNY drive, which took 15-20min to fill up only 7.2gb. I love this drive!

Cons: If I had to be picky I would say that the cover slides forward a little too easily and the drive doesn't seem to be perfectly straight. When plugged in you can tell the cover is slanted a bit so when you plug it in you have to tilt the drive a bit so it will line up correctly. The connection is very solid so that doesn't really matter and neither of these are a big deal in my book.

Overall Review: I look for a couple things in a drive: speed, reliability and durability. So far, after about 3 weeks of use, this drive has exceeded my expectations. I would recommend this drive to anyone and everyone.

Comfortable

Targus 16" Laptop Chill Mat - PA248U5
Targus 16" Laptop Chill Mat - PA248U5

Pros: It's very comfortable on your lap and fairly sturdy on a desk. The fans are pretty quiet and seem to produce quite a bit of air flow.

Cons: Laptop very slows slides down if you put much pressure on it. No on/off switch-must remove USB to turn off. No fan speed control.

Overall Review: I use a 17in HP dv7 notebook, where the fan opening is on the bottom to the side and also on the bottom of the back of the laptop. When the laptop is positioned squarely on the pad, the laptop fan openings are blocked by the rubber of the cooling pad. To combat this, I hang my laptop over the left side of the pad, which leaves the normal fan opening free. By doing this I'm not sure if I am defeating the purpose of the cooling pad, since it doesnt blow into any openings on laptop, or if the cooling pad is just supposed to cool the bottom cover of the laptop? It just doesn't make sense to me to align the pad so it's blowing air into places the laptop fans are trying to blow air out of? The pad is comfortable and if your laptop fan blows out of a side opening, like my previous dell did, then this pad would be perfect. Just not so sure on bottom/side fan vents like mine has.
