GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 3080 EAGLE 12G Graphics Card, 3 x WINDFORCE Fans, 12GB 384-bit GDDR6X, GV-N3080EAGLE-12GD Video Card

Pros: - Awesome bracket design, no sag at all. - Quiet - Great Performance

Cons: - LED lighting basically none existing

Overall Review: Bought this on a whim through the shuffle without doing any research on the different 3080s. This 12Gb version just being released in Jan 2022, there were no reviews on it. It deff is a chonki boy. I upgraded from a Gigabyte 1080 and have seen triple my framerates in benchmark tests. I was worried about the GPU sagging but it has a sturdy support built into it to where when I tried to wiggle the card, it wouldn't budge. The fans seen pretty good and have been quite even under full load. I haven't tried to overclock it yet but base temps when under load are 70'C with fans at 1540 rpm with momentary peaks of about 78'C and around 40-50C at idle with the fans not running. During benchmarking the base clock speed was about 1800mhz at 100% load and would boost up 2025mhz when not at 100% load. If you are looking for a sweet LED design.. this isn't it though. The LEDs are only on the logo and are on the fan side, so you can't even see them. Overall it's been a beast so far

Pros: - Awesome performance power - Great battery life - Slim design - Sturdy construction - Boots instantly - keyboard LEDs are dope

Cons: - Heats up under load, not fun on your lap - Brushed aluminum case attracts finger prints - Speakers aren't the best - Cooling

Overall Review: This has been a powerhouse of a laptop. Handles everything I throw at up with plenty of performance. Airflow underneath is great but during full load in benchmarking the CPU hits peaks of 98'C and the GPU 77'C with the fans on normal profile. She gets hot and if it's sitting on your lap, it burns. If you hit the fans to cooler booster mode then it sounds like someone started a T62 Turbine engine on your lap but GPU temps drop to 62'C under full load and CPU temps to about 90'C at 100% load . The laptop is super lightweight and slim which makes it super easy to take a awesome gaming rig with you anywhere. The speakers are tinny and not really great sounding, but if your gaming your probably using a headset. The brushed aluminum looking great but it attracts fingerprints like German shepherd fur to your clothes. The keyboard lighting is awesome and the software is super easy to use. Keys feel great and the track pad is pretty spiffy. I replaced the HDD with an SSD.. super easy to install and helped performance too. The stock M.2 for the boot drive is great and it boots instantly. I've listed connection on my desktop while playing Escape From Tarkov and was able to boot the laptop, jump on the game, and get back into the match without dying.
