Very good little card
Pros: A third smaller than the other 5000 series cards, easily reaches 1000 core and amazing ddr5 5780 at 1.262v. It has better DDR5 than the 5870/5850. The 5770 uses Hynix DDR5 that does near DDR5 6000 and the 5870/5850 uses Samsung which doesn't over clock to near those levels..
Cons: cooler is cheaply made and loud under heavy load.
Overall Review: Comes with an unlocked bios and voltage control.
Very nice ram but terrible support.
Pros: I currently have a I7 3770k and Asus Sabertooth P67 Tuf 1155 Motherboard( newest Revision). My XMP for this ram is XMP DDR3 2285 at 10-12-12-39 2N 1.65v. It runs fine at that speed. However, I'm not sure why my ram will not run at DDR 2400 11-13-13-31 2N at 1.65v. So far it won't boot at those setting even though it does boot at DDR 3 2300 at 10-12-12-39 2N 1.65v by upping the BCLK/ PCIe to 104.6 from 100. I am betting it is something in my setting because my old AData 1600 ram would hit DDR 3 2300 at 1.65v by losing the timing. However, it might be my chipset limitation. I going to contact G Skill I'm sure they can tell me what the issue is. However, even at DDR 2285 this ram is really fast.
Cons: I cannot reach DDR3 2400, but I bet that it is a setting that needs changed or the ram speed is limited by my chipset. It is not the rams fault at all this is good stuff.
Overall Review: UPDATE!!!! HOWEVER, AFTER TYPING A LENGTHY NOTE, SIMILAR TO THE ONE ABOVE, STATING MY MOTHERBOARD AUTO SET THIS RAM TO XMP DDR3 2285 at 10-12-12-39 2N 1.65v. AND THAT IT RUNS FINE AT THAT SPEED. CUSTOMER SUPPORT APPARENTLY DID NOT EVEN READ MY EMAIL AND INSTRUCTED ME TO RUN THE RAM AT DDR3 1600? THEY DID NOT HELP ME AT ALL . WHY WOULD I RUN THIS RAM AT DDR3 1600 WHEN IT CAN RUN AT DDR3 2285 BY DEFAULT? TERRIBLE UNPROFESSIONAL SUPPORT!!!! WAY TO WASTE MY TIME.
