Best on market... not saying much
Pros: This is the highest capacity MP3 player followed by the Zune which has a 120GB limit. The battery life is great while listening to music. The thing just doesn't seem to die. I dislike iTunes but the iPod is compatible with MediaMonkey, my preferred media player.
Cons: My unit died just four days after the warranty ran out. (Lucky me) The hard drive became corrupted beyond repair and it will cost me around $110 for a new hard drive which I will have to replace myself. When you approach the hard drive capacity, the menus are very prone to locking up. I sometimes had to wait a good 30 seconds for the iPod to snap out of it and function again. It doesn't support some common audio format types like WMA or FLAC.
Overall Review: I used my iPod solely for music and as an extra flash drive so I don't have any comments about video playback. This is the only 160GB mp3 player but if you can deal with only having 120GB I suggest purchasing a Zune instead.
