Older workstation that does the job
Pros: - solid specs, proven platform, unbelievable price
Cons: - for this price there are no cons
Overall Review: have always used HP Z series workstations, currently running a Z640. Every time we upgrade our workstations the previous one gets refreshed and reused in another capacity because the Z series are great units that are built with quality parts. For the price of these units it was a no brainer for us to pick up 2 of them which we will put to use in our sandbox server environment for testing. Any review you read about using these for "gaming" should be taken with a grain of salt, complaining about a 6+ year old workstation and an Nvidia NVS series card not being good for gaming is like whining that a 2010 diesel pickup is not as fast as a 2017 Italian sports car.
NOT ASUS Quality
Pros: Solid build, great features, ASUS brand name
Cons: Purchased 3 units, 2 out of 3 have been DOA. The same issue for both, the power switch on the board was broken off of the board. Not going to buy another one, instead I purchased another brand as this seems to be a manufacturing defect. ASUS support was little to no help, rather than sending me a board, they insisted I send it in for service... there is a reason I paid overnight shipping, that reason does not include waiting 6 to 8 weeks to get a machine back from "repair" that I was never even able to power on in the first place. Newegg however were wonderful as always and took care of the issue. In short, minor design and manufacturing flaws have severely comprimised what would have otherwise been another good product from ASUS.
Overall Review: I still support ASUS as a brand for MB's, video cards... but I will probably never again buy any kind of PC from them. See my review of the ChromeBox we purchased, same types of problems. I dont think ASUS actually builds these boxes, they just put their name on some other companies shoddy work?
Quality monitor
Pros: Sturdy construction Modern look with quality materials Inexpensive for what you get
Cons: still 1080, but thats why it costs what it does.
Overall Review: Recommend highly for a basic monitor
As described and good working order
Pros: great price as advertised clean and in good working order
Overall Review: Excellent choice for a backup or training switch. Low cost, used device, but arrived in great condition.
Does the job its designed for
Pros: Lightweight Small footprint
Cons: No cons as long as you are using it for its designed purpose and load
Overall Review: Totally adequate for a home PC/Monitor. Even better if its used to just power a couple soho switches. Not designed for servers, etc.
Failing fans, beat up and full of dust
Pros: Less $$ than a new one
Cons: Absolutely filthy inside. Plastics on front are broken, has failing, noisy case fans
Overall Review: Just buy something else, this is not worth it, and the seller obviously does not care.
Reputation is deserved
Adorama camera shipped everything quickly, packaged well and as described.
Great products, fast shipping
Received exactly what we ordered (2-Z400 and 1 Z820 workstations) a day earlier that expected. Included with the packages were pages of contact info for the company if we had any problems (we didnt but its nice to see a seller that wants to take care of its customers) The units were packed very well and arrived in good condition.
Quality company to deal with
Very responsive, fast shipping and quality products. I have zero complaints. Normally I only buy from Newegg as a seller, but if Antonline is a listed seller I have no reservations about using them.
