Works well with DD-WRT
Pros: Great router for DD-WRT open source router.
Cons: The factory firmware is horrid, slow and very buggy. It's like they didn't even try because they knew people were going to flash it with dd-wrt or tomato so they just didn't try.
Overall Review: Once the firmware is replaced, works great as an AP, ROUTER, Client, repeater client bridge. Under DD-WRT it supports radius, wpa2 and milkfish for sip phone connections. Also sooo many other nice features.
Seems like an offer BUT....
Pros: It's a game. A game that might be good, might not.
Cons: - Having to setup an AMD account to redeem. - Having to agree to installing an AMD software on you newly built computer that will collect information on your hardware and do what else??????? - Agree to AMDs terms of service for their software. - Strings attached, especially if you didn't want AMDs software.
Overall Review: - Always with the strings attached so that company can collect your information and spy on you.
Garbage adware
Pros: - I can play the latest video games.
Cons: - They collect information on you even though you turn it off. - They push a MS account on you at ever cost even though you don't want it. - They push software installs to their OS (yours) that you didn't want, that you keep uninstalling, that keeps showing back up on your machine. - They push ads to your panel. - Riddled with spyware from MS. - Remote access given away to authoritarians.
Overall Review: - I keep Win10 around for video game and music recording. 80% of the bloat on this never ending corporate slot machine of information theft is useless to me. That's why it was never made for me. It was made for them in order to farm you.
Board seems nice so far, the MSI Support site is painful.
Pros: - The board performs well. I don't care about the lights, I wanted M.2 PCIE 4 and something that supports 4000mhz memory. This is the board. The HDMI wouldn't post to the screen, luckily I have a 1070 for the motherboard.
Cons: - The MSI Website shows no drivers, software, utilities, and BIOS. I tried registering in hopes there would be something, no. Just a 13 page survey asking me questions about features I no care about. Really, really just annoyed. I think I am done with the MSI products just because of the hassle of the support site.
Overall Review: Board works. Company support is aggravating at best.
Pros: Small, rugged, nice features, better than average sound quality. Has good bass for such a small foot print.
Cons: Better than average sound.
Asus GTX670-DC2T-2GD5 Goodness
Pros: The card is fast, stable, and quiet. No problems with the install, been running it for 4 days of solid gaming and no issues. Skyrim is amazing turned up all the way at 1900x1200 still getting 60fps vertical sync.
Cons: None so far. Could be cheaper. Doesn't excite the ladies. Didn't come with a free copy of something.
Overall Review: I am beta testing Firefall at the moment and the fps are around 60 - 25. Avg 52. Seriously quieter then my Asus GTX 260, Smaller card too.
