Great Video Card
Pros: Upgrade from NVidia GS 8400 -- Windows Experience Index went from 3.1 to 7.4 for both graphics measurements. Downloaded most current drivers from ATI and installed flawlessly. I'm not much of a gamer but the ones I do have are noticeably improved in graphics -- turned on AA to 4x and AF. Has DVI, VGA and HDMI which is what I wanted.
Cons: No so far.
Overall Review: I wanted VGA to be able to connect to my KVM -- a lot of cards are dropping VGA.
RIP
Pros: Worked for 2 mos.
Cons: Worked for 2 mos. Bought Sandisk for same price as replacement.
Fixed my issue
Pros: Fixed my issue with new system build. This card replaces an Radeon 5770 in my new system (3570K, Asus Z77 MB, 16GB Gskills RAM, HyperX SSD - Win7). ATI driver caused BSOD on boot up -- troubleshoot the hell out of it to no avail. ATI card worked fine on old AMD X4 955 system and new system only suffered BSOD on boot but would operate OK once in Windows OS. But BSOD was not acceptable on new sysem. I had to change NB PCIe to Gen. 1 (auto no video) using hdmi connection of Asus 23 lcd panel. Got rebate of $30 so less than $100 and benchmarks are comparable with 5770. Happy now.
Cons: Card is big. Had to change setting in UEFI for it to display properly.
Overall Review: Not sure why ATI card would not work without erroring on atikmpag.sys followed instructions for clean install -- disabled onboard video and lots of other "advice" -- no problems with Nvidia card -- I order 2 others (which were RMA back) --worth the price for the lack of errors alone.
Coolio!
Pros: Cooool and quiet! Watch youtube video on install an had no problems with 1155. It is huge but I expected and measured before purchase.
Cons: included instructions were not clear
Overall Review: do your research and you won't be disappoined.
Light, attractive, works
Pros: Lightweight, attractive and works with my 64-bit Windows 7 PC. Before this I bought 500GB HP Simplesave for $20 less and couldn't get it work or even be accessible on my Windows 7 64-bit PC. It worked with 32-bit Windows 7 and Windows XP fine. Couldn't even format. I returned and bought this one and am happy with it so far.
Cons: Usual short cable but seems the standard.
Overall Review: This was recommended to me and I would recommend it to others.
Good solid board
Pros: Good price with AM3, HDMI, 5 SATA ports and onboard RAID. Installed Phemon II 955 BE. It booted immediately and was a pleasure to assemble. I like added features like Express Gateway. I highly recommend but do your homework. Read reviews on Newegg and learn from the mistakes of others.
Cons: None so far.
Overall Review: Upgraded my system from AMD X2 4200+. I have ATI Radeon 5770 and 4GB of G.Skills memory. I originally planned to go Core i5 or i7 but glad I saved bucks and stayed with AMD.
