Pros: Beautiful looking bulbs with a great vintage look. What I love most is the soft yellow glow. It makes the atmosphere of whole room look warm and inviting instead of that bright white look of regular LED bulbs.
Overall Review: I strongly recommend these. I normally use regular ACE hardware LED bulbs but now I'm using these for many of the lights in my home, glad I tried these.
Pros: Wow this card is a beast! If you're looking for the best RX 5700 XT on the market than you can stop looking now because this is it. I spent 3 months researching 5700 XT's and the consensus by most professional and amateur reviewers is the Nitro + and Nitro + SE (this card) are the best in just about every way so it was a no brainer for me. I now can say that they are all correct. First, it's definitely the coolest looking. It's got a lot of style, sleek looking. I really like the black and grey theme. I also like the programmable RBG lights. They're not over the top (maybe a little for some) and the brightness is adjustable and can even be turned off if you prefer. I don't have any RGB strips in my case, the RBG in my MSI X470 Gaming Pro Carbon plus the ones on this card alone just enough to show off the components in my case and give my build some style without looking overwhelming. I don't want aircraft flying over my house mistaking it for a landing strip. Sapphire's has always made high quality graphics cards. You can really tell the difference when you hold one in your hands and look at it close up. They're certainly heavier than any other GPU I've held and I have yet to see any visible imperfections. This tells you one thing, quality materials and craftsmanship. I also own a Sapphire Pulse RX 580 and 590 and they are of similar quality. As for the driver issues, I've been using version 20.2.2 as was recommended by many and I've had very little issues so far. Occasionally there will be a slight stutter when I'm gaming at 2K or 4K. It's slightly more noticeable at 4K but even then it's minor and infrequent enough not to annoy me or affect my gaming. I'm sure AMD will work out most of the bugs in future releases. I get about 95 fps at 2K and close to 70 fps at 4K with games graphics settings either all at max or close to it on AAA titles. Of course it varies a bit depending on the game. Frame rates are also very stable and steady. The temps are very reasonable for an RX 5700 XT. It usually takes a tops out around 72 degrees C to 78 degrees C with it's massive heatsink while gaming. AMD say the max acceptable operation temp is 90 degrees C so I'm happy with that.
Cons: Slight stuttering occasionally (due to current driver issues), price is high (but still worth it imo). This is like the Ferrari of 5700.XT's. Sapphire does not have a phone number you can call for support. The only way you can contact them is by mail. This is the only con that bothers me. If you do have any issues you have to email them and ask wait at least a day, probably more just to receive a response. When working out technical issues there's usually lots of back and forth between the customer and tech person which means it could potentially take several days or even longer to resolve any issues that could have been resolved in a 20 minute phone call.
Overall Review: So far I'm very satisfied with my purchase. I'm very happy I bought this card and if you are looking for the best, I highly recommend it. If I had to choose a new GPU all over again, I would not hesitate to buy this card again.
Update: 7 months later and it's still running and performing great! I've had no issues at all. AMD has been working hard on fixing the drivers and the last few driver updates have completely eliminated the stuttering and other minor issues, at least with the 12 or so games I regularly play. I'm still very happy with this card and I'm still happy I bought it.
Pros: By far the best compressed gas duster brand ever! Very strong bursts with a quick shot of the trigger, sturdy trigger.
Beats any other brands I've tried by a mile.
Cons: Why is this stuff always so expensive regardless of brand?
Overall Review: IMPORTANT: Always use in well ventilated areas or you will kill some brain cells.
Pros: Greatly enhances security to your system in many ways if it's compatible with your motherboard .
Cons: Doesn't work on my Z97 Gaming 5. Only a tpm 1.2 module is compatible. I asked on Discord and searched forums of which both told me it is compatible. Turns out they were wrong. MSI Technical support says it's not when I talked to them on the phone.
Overall Review: MSI support told me only Z170 and newer support 2.0 modules. Luckily I do have a different MSI board that is confirmed as compatible so I will try to install and update this review after.
Pros: Cool, sleek design as far as appearance. Easy installation. 16x PCI-E 3.0 slot, M.2 slot. Supports full 7.1 Audio. Has 4 USB 3.1 ports plus a USB 3.1 header to connect to front panel. Bios flashback option for easy Bios updates. VRM's are beefy and good quality, good for overclocking. Comes with some cool software. This is a great board that has all the basic features a budget gamer needs.
Cons: Doesn't seem to support Windows 7 with Pinnacle Ridge cpu as stated on MSI's website. I have a 2700X installed. When I try to install Windows 7, keyboard and mouse go dead every time. Tried 3 different keyboards and 2 mice, nothing worked. It would probably work with PS/2 keyboard and mouse but this board only has one PS/2 port which only supports one or the other, not both.
Overall Review: IMPORTANT: Make absolutely sure you look up your board on MSI's website and check memory compatibility before you buy ram. Each of their boards has a compatibility list. It's different depending on what AM4 chip you are running. If it's not on the list, you will have issues. This is true for any AM4 board. So many people either don't know or don't bother to check and blame the board for not working cause they don't know their ram isn't compatible.
This is my first AMD build. I've always went with Intel until now. Finally decided to go AMD after the price of the gen 2 Ryzens dropped so much I couldn't pass on the opportunity. This is my second MSI motherboard (first was a Z97 Gaming 5 that is still in use and works great) and I've always liked their features, reliability and design. I recommend this board if you're on a budget.
Pros: Offers many of the same features high end cases do for fraction of the cost. Looks great, has room for just about anything you want to add to your build. Nicely packaged, included fans are decent, many extra screws neatly organized in a small case. Removable HDD bays, Tool less hdd trays and nice psu cover. Has lots of velcro straps and holes to route cables which allows for very easy and many cable management options. Three 5.25" bays which is a must for me. There is so many options for them these days and I hate using external optical drives which take up even more space on my desk. Even comes with a great fan controller.
Cons: Just a couple minor things. The plastic power button was put in backwards. Every time I turned it on, it would stick causing the pc to immediately power back down. All I had to do was pop it out of the hole, flip it around and put it back in. Now it works fine, no big deal. The other issue is the plate with the bolted on Phantek logo is all messed up. It's all scratched up and looks like it didn't form properly in the mold. Has those little plastic hairs all over it and the logo looks faded. I know it's just a logo but I can't properly represent my awesome Phantek case with a messed up logo.
Overall Review: I bought this case cause I was doing some upgrades to my old mid tower and got so dang frustrated trying to fit my fat hands in such very tiny places. For example I added a big cooler and just to plug in the cpu fans I had to unplug everything and remove the whole motherboard. After doing this and reinstalling the board I realized I also forgot to plug in the 8 pin power cable at the top of the board from the psu so after some cussing I once again had to take out the board, plug that in and reinstall it again. Then after some further issues I finally had enough, went online determined to once and for all buy a full atx case and I found this one. I'm so glad I did. No longer do I have to fight with my case to mod or upgrade anything and my hands fit anywhere inside they need to. There's more than enough room. Not to mention none of the other full atx cases I looked at in this price range had anywhere near the number of features this one does. I can't recommend this case enough. I'm starting another build and the first thing I'm buying is another one of these cases.
Pros: Easy installation, instructions simple to follow, comes with thermal paste that's even better than Arctic Silver, very high quality precision construction and of course, amazingly low temps. Even better than many water coolers. Everything in the box is very neatly organized and well packaged. I replaced my Hyper 212 Evo with this and it decreased temps by 10 to 12 degrees C under stress test installed on my 4790K. Max temperature with the NH-D15 using UTX was 64 to 66 degrees C.
Cons: Huge. Always measure or check with your case manufacturer for max cpu cooler height. Low profile ram required. Nothing else will fit.
Overall Review: If you want the best cooling, than this is absolutely without a doubt, the cooler you are looking for.
Pros: Includes the two most common types of pc screws plus standoffs, good quantity for the price and they work fine.
Cons: I did need black screws but wish they came in other colors as well. Using blue, or red screws would be a really cool look on a pc I think.
Overall Review: If you're always losing screws like me you'll definitely need to buy more at some point so just get these instead of crawling on the ground with a flashlight.
Pros: Dusting brush easily cleans off the dust without just spreading it around like when I just use a cloth and it's retractable which helps it itself from getting dirty when storing. The cleaning solution does a wonderful job of getting rid of those annoying smears and smudges. I can't stand using a monitor or tv that's all smudged up. Cloth is lint free which is a major plus. Others I've used always end up leaving some lint behind.
Cons: Just a minor con, the brush handle feels cheap.
Overall Review: This is the best method I've used for cleaning screens. I even use it for my glasses :)
Pros: Very cheap cost for the amount of storage, especially on sale and more reliable than other plastic cheap flash drives (as long as you're careful with it). The ones I bought average 24mbps write. Occasionally write speeds fluctuate up and down a bit. For the price, I'm happy with the speeds. Thumb slider has a good feel to it. Good warranty and rma is straight forward, no hassle. No issues with these drives but one of another model I bought failed and rma'd.
Cons: Has thin plastic body. Like I said you have to be mindful when using it. If you're on the clumsy side, you may want to get the Advanced Pro model with aluminum body. I have both models and performance is the same. Only difference is the body, and slider.
Overall Review: My experience with ADATA and their products has been great so far. I own 10 ADATA flash drives all together and so far only one failed which was the aluminum model, go figure :)
Pros: Super fast, doesn't overheat despite not having heatsink cheaper than other big brands and just as reliable so far. This is my first M.2 drive and I'm extremely happy with it. I have an older motherboard that only has a pci-e 2.0 M.2 slot so I can't verify it's top speeds but it is still much faster than my Western Digital Blue Sata SSD. No more staring at the screen waiting for Windows to load. Just push the power button, blink a couple times and Windows up and running.
Cons: Not the products fault but be aware you may need to change some settings in your bios for the motherboard to recognize it. I just needed to change one setting called Boot priorities in my MSI bios.
Overall Review: I highly recommend this drive. Would definitely buy again when I do my next build.
Pros: Very high quality construction, moves a ton of air. Extremely quiet. Even running at 100% they're much more quiet than other brands I've tried but do make some noise. Lowered Temps by 10 to 12 degrees C during cpu stress test compared to the Cool Master fans on my 212 Evo I replaced. I bought 2 for the cooler and one more as an exhaust behind the cooler for even air flow.
Cons: Not RBG but I also bought some Cathode Tube Kits here in Newegg and with those my pc is already lit up like a Christmas Tree. No need for RBG fans.
Overall Review: If you want quiet fans with good static pressure that can move lots of air for cheap, these are the best hands down.
Pros: Much brighter than Led strips or fans and much cheaper. I installed 3 of these kits, minus one tube I dropped and broke due to my clumsiness, and when turned on, I can easily see all my pc components through the side panel window in bright beautiful blue. Highly recommend!
Cons: Only real con is wires are yellow and orange which makes them hard to hide. Does take up room in case so make sure you can fit them.
Overall Review: I needed to switch to Noctua fans for better cooling which means no led/rbg fans and I was going to buy led strips for lighting until I came across these. Much better in my opinion. Remember these are basically light bulbs so be careful handling and installing. They are fragile.
Cons: I spent over an hour looking for a decent game to download and I didn't see anything remotely interesting. All of the games that didn't cost extra money were garbage.
Pros: It's medium size and it's shape fit my hand perfectly and is very comfortable. Adjustable DPI, Pol rate and very accurate laser allows for precision when it matters. I love having a wired mouse. Lag from my old wireless was very frustrating. Has a few extra buttons but not so many that it's confusing and hard to remember what they all do which I really like. A good mouse shouldn't be complicated. Wheel feels really good when scrolling. Excellent price for the quality and features it has.
Cons: Absolutely none. I love this mouse.
Overall Review: I looked at many different mice before choosing this one and many others I really liked were way to small for me or had to many useless buttons. This mouse has all the features I was looking for and is the perfect size for my hand. I can't recommend this mouse enough. If you're on the fence about it, just buy it. You won't be sorry.
Pros: Sleek MSI style look, huge screen, sturdy base, DisplayPort cable included, has tilt, clear picture and vivid colors, easy to use OSD with decent number of features, 1ms RT, up to 165Mhz or 144Mhz with FreeSync enabled. No dead/stuck pixels. I really like this monitor and it is well worth the price. I know many picky people who complain about a 32 inch 1080p monitor but I don't mind it a bit. You wont find a better deal on a gaming monitor with these features.
Cons: Two cons I see is one, not enough pixels or pixel density. I know this is a deal breaker for some but for me it's only a minor issue. I barely notice them unless I put my face two feet away from the screen. The second is as others have said it does seem quite fragile. Every time I pick it up or move it, I'm afraid it's going to crack. What I do is only hold it by the base to lift, carry or slide it making sure not to put any pressure on the screen itself.
Overall Review: If you're looking for a good budget 32 inch gaming monitor I strongly recommend you give this one a try.
Pros: Made with the usual high WD quality and standards. Speeds are close to advertised, super easy installation. I've owned four Western digital drives over the years and they are far more reliable than any other brand I've used. This is my first SSD and I am blown away with the read and write times. My OS boots in less than half the time it used to, programs, apps and games load and run much smoother and faster. There's no way I'm ever going back to an HDD for my boot drive.
Cons: None yet. Will update if anything changes.
Overall Review: I highly recommend this drive. It hits all the sweet spots. Performance, reliability, and price. I know I'm going to buy another soon.
Pros: Durable metal case, reasonable speed and great storage size for the price. I've bought several of these S102 Pro's in various sizes and this is the first one to give me any issues. The storage spirits were just angry at me this time.
Cons: First time I plugged it in it worked fine. Already Formatted to FAT32. Second time I plugged in it said the drive needed to be formatted. Obviously something went wrong. I clicked the format options and it only allowed me to format to NTFS or exFAT.
Overall Review: I will still purchase more of these in the future since most work fine. Buy enough and you'll eventually get a dud.
Cons: Mine came with one connector having 3 pins and the other only 2 pins. Considering all the good reviews, I think I was just unlucky enough to draw the short straw this time. It happens.
Pros: I have a total of 5 of these installed, (three are a few years old) and barely over a whisper with them all running at 100%. Good air movement.
Cons: None so far
Pros: Able to lock in place and very cheap price. My original cables are very stiff and hard to manage. These are much softer and make cable management so much easier. I'm definitely buying more.
Cons: None at all.
Pros: Very cheap
Cons: Have to pull trigger straight back to get a good blast. Sounds easy but it will sometimes pull at slight angle and you won't get much pressure. Worth it if you don't mind this annoyance.
Pros: Very comfortable with the overstuffed cushions. Also has tilt features. Height adjustment has a long range.
Cons: Difficult to put together. Assembly was easy until I got to the last part where I had to put in the last two screws in the back piece of the chair. There's two screws on each side to connect the chair back and the bottom screws went in fine but the upper screws were not long enough. I had to use my body to put as much weight as possible on the arm rest (where the screws go in to connect to the back) and press down on the included alan wrench as I was tightening them.
Overall Review: I did have shipping issues with this product but I don't believe it was the seller's fault. Somehow the package got lost. I asked the seller to reship and they did without any issues so I'm not deducting eggs for that.
Pros: Very long cable for the price
Cons: Works when I first boot my pc and the bios screen loads but as soon as Windows begins to start up the screen goes dead. I have an old standard VGA cable that works fine when connected so I know it's the cable.
EDIT: My main monitor is an old Samsung TV and for some reason this cable doesn't like it. I've tried it with regular monitors and it seems to work fine now.
Overall Review: Just thought it would be nice to have a high resolution VGA connection when needed . I usually use the HDMI port. My Bios does not support HDMI monitor so I also need it to enter it. At least it works for that.
Pros: The case itself seems quite strong like it could take a good beating without damaging the disks inside.
Cons: The sleeves inside are very thin and cheaply made but what I was expecting for a cd wallet at this price.
Overall Review: Works just fine for basic storage for my disks which is what I was looking for. I don't need anything fancy.
