Pros: Quiet. I really, really like the construction of the chassis and the quality of the screen. Quiet. Runs great as long as you immediately gank the spindle-based hard drive out of it and replace it with a much faster type with no moving parts.

Cons: Very few cons. BIOS does not acknowledge the Samsung 256 gig SSD that I put into it, which cost me about a day of troubleshooting, firmware flashing, etc. before I discovered that it didn't matter, and that I could just install the SSD, install an O/S to it, and it would boot fine.

Overall Review: The backpack that (currently) comes with it is worth having, reasonably well-constructed, and no obnoxious logos. Have not used this model for gaming. Am just a power user and want a machine that can keep up.

Pros: The performance that you get for the price.

Cons: Not a particularly fast lens, in terms of f-stop.

Overall Review: I can imagine a better lens, and in fact I think one does exist for about four times the price of this one, but given what this one sells for, I'm extremely pleased with it. The focus lock is accurate and quick, and I got some really surprisingly good shots from this lens right after I took it out of the box.

Pros: Inexpensive and works. Going back and forth between this dongle and the wireless adapter built into my laptop showed about 2x better signal strength for the dongle. Can't wait until the bigger antenna arrives! Glad I picked up two of these while they were cheap. XP even detected and installed the drivers automatically, without even needing the cdrom. That's a bit much to expect, but it was still nice.

Overall Review: Whenever you're writing much to the disk, installing software, etc. It seems to bind up the machine until the write is done. As long as you're not doing this, it runs apps remarkably quickly. My laptop had a 4,200 rpm HD which I replaced with this, and it has definitely made the machine a lot more enjoyable to use.
