Excellent case! Easy to build in, beautiful, and great airflow!
Pros: - First of all this case looks amazing. I wanted to go with a white and black build and this case fit the bill perfectly. - Very easy to build in. I really like that you can easily remove all of the panels without any screws. (2 screws for the top fan mount). It allows you to easily access areas of the case that would otherwise be a tough reach. - The airflow is really great, I added one extra fan above the CPU Air Tower for exhaust and have been getting great temps with my new 12700K
Cons: - While one of the pro's is the smaller size, the only downside was that with the second fan installed on my Noctua NH-D15 I wasn't able to close the glass panel because it protruded too far. I think that's a mix of RAM clearance in the front and Motherboard heatsink on the back not allowing there to be enough room. It's just something to note about the narrower design of the case if you're planning on a large air cooler as well. Not necessarily a knock on the case but just wanted to point it out.
Overall Review: - Would recommend this case to anyone looking for a well built and easy to build in case. Coming from an S340 Elite this is a huge upgrade.
Great motherboard, full of features and style!
Pros: - Ample amount of M.2 slots with heat sinks for all four - All black aesthetic - Available quickly after Alder Lake released
Cons: - No LAN drivers out of the box which created some difficulty connecting to the internet. Had to use a friends computer to download the network drivers in order to get things up and running. It sounds like there's a USB being included with drivers now, so maybe I had an earlier board that did not feature that.
Overall Review: - Overall would definitely recommend. All of the Z690 boards are pricey but at least you're getting a clean looking board with plenty of IO options and a lot of connectivity for fans, M.2 drives, SATA, etc. which is all important to me. - This review is for the MSI Review Rebate Program.
Great RAM. Looks great too, pictures don't do it justice!
Pros: -Blue LEDs look beautiful! -Speed immediately recognized in Asus Z170-A BIOS
Overall Review: -I did not realize the LEDs pulse rather than staying constantly lit. It's a cool effect though so I don't mind, just be aware that it does a breathing effect. -People commenting that their having issues most likely have not checked their motherboard manufacturers website to check compatibility. Do this!
