Pros: Nice and lightweight. Blue activity LED on end. Carry bag is a bit stiff.
Cons: None so far, will update if any problems crop up.
Overall Review: Shipping with Firmware 1.01 so you need to Flash to newest 1.02. Very easy to do. Just go to, Tabs "Others", "Portable SSD", "EX1" : http://www.goplextor.com/Support/Downloads
Pros: This is a fantastic batter power bank at the sale price it was offered. Do not hesitate.
Overall Review: It comes with almost a full charge, and just needs to be topped off. It is on the heavy side and would be better if it came with a neoprene carry case.
Pros: It spins.
Cons: Took a gamble, 28032 hours. 3 years 77days used. 83 bad sectors. Used Seagate: Seatools, "Fix All Long," option, resulted in 35 uncorrectable sectors. Seatools reports drive failure. Age aside, I would not buy again due to bad sectors. I'm using the drive for a Windows backup drive.
Overall Review: I would not buy again. Price is too high for a drive that has been in a server farm and seen corporate tax depreciation. Had the drive only had 2 years use and had no bad sectors, then I would say the price was fair.
Pros: Nice looking. Charging capacity for phones and tablets. Unobtrusive LED's. Had a positive review at another tech site. EDIT: See other below.
Cons: Died quickly, 5 days. Unit is getting very warm to the touch. When you plug in a thumb drive the blue LED next to each port no longer comes on. Can no longer communicate with desktop. Also, supplied USB cord is only 32 inches, should be a 6 footer. Ordered on 11.02.2014.
Overall Review: Would like to try another but... I think I will return for refund. Have not contacted Vantec yet.
EDIT on 05.11.2016 : Contacted Vantec shortly after the initial review. I sent back the faulty unit directly under warranty. (This was easier than returning to Newegg) They sent back a new unit that had a different power brick. It has been rock solid for well over a year. I would buy this again. I heavily use the charging ports for the cell phone and tablet.
Pros: Needed 3 for a Dell OptiPlex 390 and 3020 and an old vintage build. Dell's do not have extra power cables and have only 265 watt PSU, so needed slot/buss powered card of 50 watts or less. This video card is 49 watts. Works well. Not a gamer card due to DDR3 memory but for a daily task, internet machine it is better than the built in video. It has a wider selection of cable options HDMI, DVI-D, D-Sub. This is a very solid video card for its intended use.
Overall Review: I was very impressed with the clean, high quality circuit design. 10 year Warranty.
Pros: Great drive. Extremely lightweight. Retractable design the best I've used. It stays put when you insert it. Unobtrusive tiny red LED when in use.
HDTune 2.55 info : 58.9GB (63.2), Fat16
min 170.5 MB/sec
max 189.1 MB/sec
avg 186.2 MB/sec
access time: .6ms
Burst rate: 59.7 MB/sec
CPU usage: -1.0%
Pros: None to recommend. It picks up fewer channels than my FM antenna, so this was a step backwards.
Cons: It is not in use and sits in a box.
Overall Review: This really is a poor quality antenna and should be discontinued by Newegg. I would not offer my customers this as a choice.
Pros: GSkill: made for Apple.
Installed in 2008 MacBook with OSX 10.6.8.
Upgraded from stock 2 x 1GB.
Worked first time.
I've had a solid experience with GSkill and will continue buying. I own many sets.
GSkill warranty is top notch.
Pros: Bought 2: silver and black. They worked and tested ok first time, prior to writing data. Ran system bkup and saved several files.
Cons: None so far.
Overall Review: Would recommend and purchase again.
Pros: Appears to be ok. Working.
Cons: One end, near the molded jack end, the cable jacket has a hard dent in it. Worried that this may have harmed the wire inside and will cause breakage or degradation.
Shipping was painfully slow.
Overall Review: Not as pictures on Newegg site. Picture shows grey cable with green ends. Cable is all black and that is a plus.
Pros: Reason for review: according to specs, the 27" version has a "Brightness of 300 cd/m2. It's listed here as 250.
Also model number should be E2742V not EB27...
Cons: Incorrect information.
Overall Review: Please correct the info mentioned above.
Pros: Solid build and it works.
Overall Review: Would buy again.
Pros: It works. A fan can be mounted for cooling a traditional laptop drive.
Cons: It is extremely thin and the tabs that hold the drive bend easily.
Overall Review: I bought 4 differnt ssd adapters to try different options. The Vantec HDA-250M is more solid and I would buy that version again.
Pros: Seems ok?
Cons: It appears that the first three pictures or slides are upside down.
Overall Review: It would appear that the TV would drop right off the metal pipe.
Pros: Works the best of the many PSU's I've owned. Voltage output better than the Corsair 850HX.
Overall Review: ALL rails perform at rated specs. Strong output without vdroop.
Pros: Does the job well. Long, used for server case with a Scythe DFS123812-3000 "ULTRA KAZE" 120 x 38 mm Case Fan.
Overall Review: Cable works. Fan does produce some noise.
Pros: Fantastic, works as it should per HD Tune. Comes FAT32 formatted. Tried HD Tune v2.55 as FAT32 and NTFS; marginally faster as FAT32.
Overall Review: BUY, without reservations.
Pros: Great match for my CM Stacker 830SE. Well made.
Overall Review: You need to unscrew (not used) the supplied plastic fan cover to work with the CM Stacker 830SE. The 3 pin fan cable is better than the original.
Pros: Nice looking kit. Worked, no problems at XMP speeds.
Really could not make up my mind between this and Corsair, Mushkin and Patriot. This has turned out very well. I have purchased G.Skill before. I am very pleased with purchase.
Cons: When I tried removing first stick from vendor plastic packaging the heatspreader started to come off/apart by separating the two halfs. Did not come off all the way and I pressed the shell back together. Best to remove from package by End of ram stick not by top of ram heatsink.
Overall Review: I have not overclocked system yet: Asus R3F, i7 950. But so far stable and fast.
Pros: Love it. Nice case. Small, compact, durable.
Cons: Might me a little heavy in a shirt pocket.
Overall Review: Buy without reservations.
Pros: If it works great. Newegg paid shipping back: you need to call.
Cons: Three failed drives in a row. DO NOT RELY ON REVIEWS FROM PEOPLE THAT SAY HOW GREAT ASUS IS FOR ANY OTHER THAN THIS DRIVE SOLELY. This drive model is less than a year old. If drive does not open, return. Flashing to new firmware v1.03 is useless.
Overall Review: Purchased 4 drives. 1 works, but buggy sometimes.
Pros: 3...THREE DOA in a row. Manufacture date January 2010. Last two serial numbers are: 01D0BF115852, A1D0BF104661.
Cons: Bought one that was shipped from California with a external Samsung S2 hard drive...it is working currently.
The 3...THREE most current I have been shipped all have not worked. The green drawer light comes on but it won't open. Open with paperclip and insert disk, it won't play. Paperclip drawer again to remove disk. Tried flashing Firmware from 1.01 to 1.03 on all, but that didn't fix anything. The First one I returned almost didn't Flash, real sloooow. I think I am done now need to call again.
Overall Review: This problem needs to be fixed NOW at the Warehouse, it must be a bad batch or UPS.
Pros: Worked well from start, no DOA. I purchased this kit to replace 4 Crucial Ballistix Tracer 512mb sticks that I have had since 12/2006 and 01/2007. Ran Microsoft memtest on basic and extended and so far so good. I am running at 250mhz currently. You can buy with confidence. Running ASUS A8N32 SLI Deluxe mobo (bios 1409), AMD FX-60 core. Dual OS, XPpro and 7-64bit. Mushkin Forum very helpful for setup.
Overall Review: One Crucial stick failed this month and Crucial no longer makes this ddr500 anymore. They have offered me an upgrade to next gen. memory but that does not help me with my current setup.
Pros: Great case. Much thicker padding than shown in picture. Fits Canon SD790IS, no slop. Price is good. Case is 1.5 inches wide with camera. Case is 2.75 x 4.25 inches measured at fullest points. Has stitched on belt loop.
Cons: Shipping was $6.37.
Overall Review: Case is $30.00 at best buy before tax.
Pros: Card appears adequate. Price is great; came with USB reader.
Cons: Card only formated to 3.7GB. Card fit snugly in Canon SD790IS, Had same fit issue with OCZ SDHC 150x 4GB. I wrote review for OCZ card as well.
