Pros: Appears likely to withstand years of tugging and pulling. Absolutely no audio noise as the connections appear to be electrically sound!
Overall Review: I gave it 5 eggs because it does the job well and I really like the strength of the nylon braiding.
Pros: This thing came out of the box cleaner than a brand new device. It was exactly as described. I even checked the caps on the motherboard and everything looks pristine! I'm not sure this machine ever ran at the previous owners site.
Cons: No cons!
Overall Review: If someone just needs a machine to surf and play on Facebook etc. this is a wonderful deal!
Pros: It just works! It feels strong enough to do pull-ups from it!
Overall Review: Awesome mount for the price. Make sure you find a wall stud and pre-drill the holes because the lag bolts provided are really large.
Pros: Works well on Windows 10 with automatic setup. I was running the built-in laptop monitor and 2 other 23" monitors with no problem.
Cons: I don't think Wavlink is to blame however on my Dell G315 laptop which has both embedded Intel graphics and a separate Nvidia GTX 1050 graphics chip the monitors plugged in to the Dock can ONLY use the embedded Intel graphics. This sort of sucks for gaming.
Overall Review: Solid product!
Pros: These are awesome. I bought one about 5 years ago and used it constantly. Then like an idiot on Tuesday I dropped it on a concrete floor from a height of about 6 feet. It landed on the base and bent the housing. The motor still turned but it sounded like a jack hammer with the bearings obviously in great distress. So I immediately bought a new one which arrived today using 2-day shipping.
Cons: Very excited as I opened the new box. Plugged it in. Turned it on. Imagine my horror as it sounded nearly as bad as the one I broke! The bearings whine, the speed is erratic. The air flow is probably half what my old one could deliver. I can't believe they didn't test this thing in the factory! Immediate RMA time!!!
Overall Review: Have to hand it to Newegg's RMA process! About as painless as it can be! Thanks Newegg! I can't wait to get my replacement, I hope it works as good as the original did for years!
Pros: Purchased 2 of these drives in Feb. 2016. Drives worked fine with variety of Windows machines. One drive failed last month. I had to mail in the failed drive for about $3 in US postage but they mailed me a brand new drive. I like how tiny these are but the Post Office won't let you use a regular envelope to ship them, you need a parcel mailer.
Cons: Nothing really.
Overall Review: I would not hesitate to continue buying SP products. I hope the failure of 1 drive was just a fluke.
Pros: Works wonderfully. Peace of mind knowing it's a Toshiba company as my son had some issues with older OCZ RAM some years ago.
Overall Review: Cloned from my older Samsung 60GB SSD. I wanted the extra capacity for the upcoming Windows 10 upgrade and after using Disk Manager to extend the OS partition this is working great. Now I can re-install the full Visual Studio app and not worry about those disk hungry Microsoft apps.
Pros: Works like a champ, great value!
Overall Review: Added to a little upgrade build. My old Phenom II X6 1090T had only 8GB of DDR2 RAM. So I bought a FX-6300, a Newegg refurbished MSI AM3+ MB, and this RAM. Works smooth. Windows 10 upgrade insurance! :)
Pros: Awesome value. Works like a champ.
Overall Review: Installed in a Newegg refurbished MSI AM3+ MB. Smooth as silk. I wanted to upgrade my Phenom II X6 1090T with something that took advantage of DDR3 RAM. Spent just $300 on CPU, RAM, MB, and a 240GB SSD. Cheap Windows 10 upgrade insurance! :)
Pros: Worked great for over 5 years! Finally fried after I installed a new Radeon GPU that really sucked the juice. I would buy Hipro again.
Overall Review: I've used the USB 2.0 Vantec for ages and since I'm seeing more and more devices with USB 3.0 ports decided it was time to save myself some time. This works exactly like the older model except it is much, much faster when plugged into a real 3.0 port.
Pros: Works great.
Cons: Be gentle it's plastic.
Overall Review: Awesomely cheap way to clone hard drives. Used it to duplicate some 2.5" laptop drives to Seagate Hybrid SSDs. So long as the target drive size is equal to or larger than the destination drive it works like a charm. Figure about an hour per 125GB which is great!
Pros: Extremely low cost, good stats, no noise.
Overall Review: Purchased to replace a HD4670 with a failing, very noisy, cooling fan. This is a secondary machine we use to surf and play the occasional Everquest character. It doesn't take much video horsepower for that and I'm tired of video cooling fans going bad.
Pros: Worked for a while.
Cons: Died at about 9 months.
Overall Review: This power supply was not abused. Powering a 3.0GHz P4, 4GB RAM, and 2 hard drives. Replaced with a 300W unit I had on the shelf which is carrying the load just fine so I know it wasn't overloaded.
Pros: Good RAM, very good heat spreader. You MUST adjust your RAM voltage when you change this to 1066 speed. The RAM is rated for 2.2v but the standard SPD value is for 800 speed at 1.8v. It will NOT be stable if you pump up the speed without pumping up the voltage too! I went to 2.0v on my Gigabyte MB and it runs fine at 1066!
Cons: No Cons except I should have bought it sooner!
Overall Review: All RAM should be packaged with a guide to appropriate settings for those modules.
Pros: Good value for the money. I like the flow through ventilation. Upgraded from HIS 4670 cards on 2 different computers. Just wanted to get a bump in performance and this card did it just fine. Went from 512MB to 1GB of VRAM which helped texture memory in Everquest.
Cons: I HATE it that all these video cards have rebate deals. The HIS rebate web page seems to work and I've mailed in my documentation. We'll see how long it takes to get my $10 Amex card.
Overall Review: I picked these cards in spite of the rebate. They were a good deal even if I blew off the $10. On a side note, I had to do this video card upgrading because a Zotac GeForce 7600 card in one of my secondary machines blew half the capacitors. I don't know why these companies use components from other companies who already have a bad reputation. I'll replace the caps for $5 but I needed to get the machines working ASAP and Newegg is the BEST for ASAP!
Pros: Works as designed for a very good price.
Overall Review: Built a rocking new system using these components:
AMD Phenom II X4 940 Quad-core CPU
Gigabyte GA-MA790GP-UD4H MB
Kingston HyperX PC2-8500 2x2G DDR2 SDRAM
HIS Hightech HD4670 IceQ Turbo Graphics
WD Caviar RE 160GB SATA-II
Samsung 22x DVD-R
HIPRO 580w ATX Active PFC Power
less than $700 delivered and Billy Boy Gates didn't see a dime of it!
NewEgg got everything right, everything on-time, and everything worked!
Pros: True quad core. Faster 'n blazes. Cheap. Works. Almost better than whoopie!
Cons: Absolutely none.
Pros: Too many pros to even begin. I used to be an MSI fan. This was my first Gigabyte purchase and I'm in love with this company.
Cons: Ummmm? It didn't install itself?
Pros: Massive heat spreaders. Plus it works great!
Cons: Absolutely none!
Pros: Nice card, I love the cooling flow exhausting the case. Plays our games just great.
Cons: I hate rebates.
Pros: It works
Pros: Low price, 300watts, 2 cooling fans - 1 pusher, 1 sucker.
Newegg just plain works.
Overall Review: Replaced a failing 250w model in an old system. Delivered to my door for less than $25.00, this type of PS routinely retails for $50 in my area.
Pros: It's Antec. It's SEXY! It's easy to work in and low priced.
Cons: My only regret is the side panel opening. I've taped mine off because I want ALL the air entering the case to come through the filter in the front! I live in a dusty area and dust control is important.
Overall Review: I've built 3 systems with this case recently and I get rave comments about the look.
Pros: Good card for the money. I wanted to try a fanless card to cut down on noise. Installed in Rosewill case with both a pusher and a puller 120mm fan. Also the Arctic Cooler CPU cooler pulls air from along the edge of the video card. Card is giving me no problems and looks great in Everquest. Make sure you have decent airflow in your case.
Cons: Don't buy this card if you are fanatic about low temps in your rig. This thing idles at 50C+ and hits 60C with a little load.
