Very Fast, Very Large Portable Drive
Pros: + 128 Gb of portable storage + Solid Construction - Aluminum Alloy metal construction + SSD controller - not your typical flash drive + Very fast file transfers + Cap fits nice and snug + Corsair 5 year warranty
Cons: - Size: 3" x 1" may cause problem - Hefty Price - Weight - much heavier than a normal flash drive
Overall Review: I ran several tests on the Voyager and while I could go into details but nothing that has not been already posted here. In a nutshell, I found the drive to be substantially faster than my normal USB 3.0 drives. It would cut write times on large video files more than half. I could easily play movies from the flash drive without stuttering. This is not your ordinary 32/64 Gb flash drive. This is a 128 Gb SSD made in the shape of a flash drive. Manufactured inside an aluminum housing this drive has a bit of weight to it. Not so much as to be a problem, but I would equate it to that of an old style lighter in your pocket. As others have mentioned, the size could be a problem depending on ones USB plug configuration. It was not a problem in my case. I believe this drive will appeal to a small niche of technophobes that have use for ultra quick file transfers and the larger storage size and don't mind the additional cost. When so many 128 Gb SSD's are on sale for less than $100 and typical flash drives always on sale, it is hard for me to justify the additional cost. While I really like the drive, I cannot justify the additional cost for my personal use and thus I subtracted one egg. If you are shopping for this type of drive, by all means give the Flash Voyager your consideration and decide for yourself.
Linksys High Gain Antenna
Pros: + Easy installation + Enormous thick blades vs. stock blades. Approx. 10" + Compatible with all routers using RP-SMA connections + Package provides 4 - enough to cover all routers
Cons: - Price - Gain is advertised as effective on a horizontal plane
Overall Review: First let me say I was provided these to test and review. My environment is a 3 story (if including the basement) modern home. I currently am using an Archer C7 router located in the basement where the cable enters the home. I have a Linksys RE4100W-4A range extender on the first floor above. At first glance I thought these would enable me to eliminate the range extender. I checked out my current setup using a WiFi Analyzer app on my cell phone. I went to the limits on each floor and noted the readings on both 2.4 Ghz and 5 Ghz bands. I then unplugged the range extender and repeated the experiment. For the next step I installed the Linksys high gain antenna kit on my Archer C7. For the final step I went around the house using the WiFi Analyzer app on my cell phone. I did see an improvement on the signal in the basement and on the first floor with the 5 Ghz band. I did not see any noticeable difference with the 2.4 Ghz. Later after reading one review I learned the Archer C7 uses internal antenna for the 2.4 Ghz band. That is a good point and one you too should check with your router before investing in this item. As for the top floor, I could not see any appreciable difference. The signal strength was less than with the range extender plugged in. The difference in the basement and first floor was close to the advertised gain. I realize my testing was not high tech and surely not what they use in a lab, however I believe the average consumer would be looking for a noticeable improvement when putting out their cash. In the end, I left the antenna installed and plugged my range extender back in. Conclusion: While I did see some signal gain, I did not see the amount of gain I expected given the price point. These did not eliminate my range extender, which really boosts the strength to the third floor. You will need to consider your home layout, home construction and LAN setup before buying these. At the suggested retail price, I believe it would be up to the individual's usage to determine the cost effectiveness. If you live in a ranch home, then by all means give them a try. If you live in a bi or tri-level home, then you may want to consider a range extender or repeater if you are having signal issues. Thanks!
Excellent Trimmer @ An Awesome Price
Pros: Hands down the price of this Philips Norelco Multigroom All-in-One makes this trimmer a No-Brainer. For a single $20 bill you're getting the convenience of a trimmer to tend to all your grooming needs. Or if you want an inexpensive trimmer to dedicate solely to your man parts, this'll do that too. The multigroom trimmer comes with everything you see in the picture: The trimmer itself; a smaller precision blade; a nose and ear trimmer; 3 lengths of hair guards (9mm, 12mm, 16mm); 3 lengths of beard guards (3mm, 5mm, 7mm); a stubble guard (1mm); a charger; a cleaning brush and a storage pouch.
Cons: Yes, there a few things I would change if I were to nitpick. It'd be nice to have an LED charge indicator that showed the charge level (Red=needs charged/Green=fully charged). Is it necessary? No. It probably would add to the overall price of production? I agree with others that wish it used a common USB C charge cable. I have several older Norelco chargers in the bathroom too. I also have to dig to find the right cable for the shaver or trimmer needing charged.
Overall Review: Heck yes I'm very happy with this Multigroom 3000. For a mere $20, you're getting a trimmer that'll satisfy all your trimming needs. It's compact and cuts well. My old Norelco with its Ni-MH battery served me well for many years. I'm expecting this Li-ION powered trimmer to do the same. I would recommend it to anyone.
Additional Memory With Bling
Pros: - 32GB of AMD Optimized DD4 3200 RAM - XMP Profile makes setup a breeze - Adds RGB effects - Corsair iCUE software adds additional RGB control/effects - Gives PC performance a boost when running multiple programs
Cons: - Price
Overall Review: I installed this CORSAIR Vengeance RGB 32GB RAM in my son's aging 4 year old PC. It already had 16GB of RAM, but I thought the additional RAM would give it a boost. It already has RGB fans so I thought this would also give it some additional bling. When I first installed the RAM it was running at 2133 MHz. I didn't realize I needed to select the XMP profile to use. A quick reboot into BIOS, select XMP profile 2 and all was good. The RAM was running at 3200 MHZ with a voltage of 1.36 volts. My son now has RGB fans, RAM, desk and headphones. I didn't play with any of the iCUE profiles. The RAM was an affordable computer upgrade and an easy install. It has helped his PC performance as he insists on having multiple programs running even when gaming.
Great Sound & Long Play Time
Pros: + 2 - 8 watt speakers have ample clear output with rich bass and clear trebles+ 19 hours of runtime - haven't timed it, but lasted for days on a single charge+ Includes a carabiner and a bicycle mount with a wired remote control + Includes a built in FM radio+ plays music using the bluetooth, FM, auxiliary input, microSD card+ answer calls through the speaker using the built-in mike+ IPX4 Protects from splashing water+ Use the included cable, charge your phone or device+ Extra power 6,000 mAh Li-on polymer battery
Overall Review: We have several portable Bluetooth speakers in our family and this Rosewill RW-SF5 speaker is impressive. For the price it's hard to beat. The sound is loud and clear, with deep bass and clear distortion free treble. My son uses it outside while practicing and playing basketball. He turns it up with the dual speakers doing a great job. I plan on using it inside in the garage while working on cars too. The included bicycle mount is a real plus and will come in handy when riding. The 6000 mAh battery is a high capacity battery and will provide long run times without charging. I give the RW-SF5 Bluetooth speaker 5 eggs. I can't think of any negatives to note. If you can grab this speaker on sale, I would recommend it.
Ultra Fast Processing and Shipping!
I ordered a replacement power supply for a client's aging PC. I placed the order on the afternoon of the 24th and received the power supply the morning of the 26th. You can't do any better than that. Highly recommend. Thank You!
