Pros: The product is all that I expected it to be. I was a little skeptical at first of the way the actual fan looked orange but once I plugged it in, I was overwhelmed by how red it actually was. It's very bright and anyone who wants to mod their cases with red will want to buy this. Very quiet and it blows a lot of air.
Best laptop for the price
Pros: This laptop is absolutely awesome. When people see it, they know it's a gaming laptop, and the red flashing lights catches eyes and turns heads. The pictures don't do this laptop justice; it looks 10x better than I thought it would. The screen is just beautiful; don't let the resolution fool you, it works very well. The included backpack works very well and looks a lot better than I expected. As for performance, it handles everything I throw at it. The dual core processors handle processes very fast. Games and applications; BF2 at full settings, the Prince of Persia games at full, Adobe Photoshop and Premiere work great, and plenty others. The battery life is around 2+ hours, but that's plenty for what it can handle. This is the best laptop you can buy for the money. Anything near to this would be $500+ more. If you need a gaming laptop that's under $2k, this is what you're looking for
Cons: Bloatware is very lame, but unistallations and a quick msconfig fixed that. No external buttons to change the volume (but used KeyTweak to change the track forward and backward to volume up and down). It's also quite big, but that's what you'd expect from buying a 17" laptop. The Asus icon below the touchpad should be a functional button, but it looks nice. There's also a slight bleed at the top and bottom, but it's not that noticeable.
Overall Review: I bought this over the GSP-7R009C because I didn't want to pay a total of over $100 just to get a lightscribe drive. Vista isn't worth it yet, either. The included AsusDVD (PowerDVD basically) and Nero you'll want to install, as one gives you DVD watching capabilities and the other burning capabilities. Important: After the msconfig and the unistallations, if you want the basics to work, here's what I kept in the startup. HControl - Controls the buttons buttons at the top of the keyboard (Power4Gear, etc.) LCMP (Asus Direct Console) - Controls the little blue LCD above the keyboard and also controls the flashing lights on the side. APoint - Controls the touchpad. CLI - ATI's Control Center Can't remember what else off the top of my head, but that looks about right. Everything else isn't really needed.
Great for laptops!
Pros: These headphones are excellent for laptop users. It's small enough to take around and the case that it comes with protects your investment. The analog to USB works great and the earpieces move around so it's never uncomfortable. The microphone works great and it wraps around the back of your head (for people who spike their hair like me). The headphones just look great and I'd recommend this to anyone looking for headphones for laptop use.
Overall Review: If you're looking for headphones for a desktop, these probably won't be your best choice.
Just what I needed
Pros: The connectivity is great and the price is awesome. Perfect length for what I need (transfering files from my desktop to my laptop).
Cons: About the only bad thing is the shipping cost.
Overall Review: Wish it was black, but that's just me, heh. What I needed and gray was better than pink.
Excellent for Laptop or Desktop
Pros: Very nice wireless mouse for either left or right handers. I myself am left handed and this mouse works great. The wireless capability is great for laptops or can easily be just as great for desktops. The distance is good and the mouse saves your batteries by automatically going to sleep after a time. No need to install the software, all the buttons worked perfectly for any browser in Windows XP. It includes a USB extender in the package just in case you need it.
Cons: The back and forward buttons are placed a little weird, I'm more used to them being on the left and right side of the mouse, but it's no big deal.
Overall Review: It's a Logitech, one of the best.
