Pros: I had this for about 1 month now. I was reading the other reviews about the green light and I did not understand until I got it. The Green lights are the 2 plastic strips on eash side of the unit. When it is powered on it lights up green. it looks cool to me and I like that I can see that the power is on, on the strip as easy asl looking at it. I know others say it is annoying, but to me it is cool.

Pros: Samba works good. Boots up and uses little power

Cons: NFS share will not work. ISO Mount will not work with bios fix for NFS shares. Power schedule is not working with NFS share update. Powers off but not back on. I have flashing menus on the NAS, This is a NAS ,not a work station so I do not understand what we are gaining from this except using power processing power to create and manage file shares. Yes I requested a basic desktop. They are still working on it.

Overall Review: I have 3 buffalo Link stations and 2 QNaps, The F4-220 is great as a basic file share NAS, but do not expect all of the features form a QNap on this unit. Also support is extremely slow on fixing anything. I have repetitively emailed them on issue and I just get we are working on it. I have read that the firmware could have been replaced with the syslogy open source which I should have done in the begging. To late for that now, since the unit has to much data on it to back up and move around. Over all if you want a basic NAS for Samba file share so far you can not go wrong for the money. If you want more features look else were. Support is very slow on fixing anything.

Pros: verified 5 year warranty shipped from newegg 18 TB for a good price.

Overall Review: Yes can't go wrong with Seagate drive and a 5 year warranty. Just make sure when you buy then they are sold and shipped by newegg so you get the 5 year warranty.

Pros: Picked these up on Newegg on sale. I was a little skeptical at first because they said OEM, yet in the description they said 5 year warranty. When I got the drives I verified the serial numbers on Seagate and they have a full 5 Year warranty Got them very fast.

Cons: Newegg needs to fix there description These are retail drives with 5 year warranty. This is an ongoing problem on some Items listed on Newegg and sold by Newegg. Bubble wrap around drives was a pain to get the drive out. Could have been a little cheaper.

Overall Review: I would recommenced these drives and Sold and shipped by Newegg.

Cons: Price was not as good as before due to supply issues. A word of caution I plugged this into a USB 3 dock and it did not go well. I was transferring files and the Drive kept freezing and I would hear a clicking. It might be the Firmware on the drive. It's not the dock I have used it on other drives and it works fine. I installed it into my pc and all is good so far. Verified the Serial number is a 5 year warranty from Seagate. 4 weeks and drive is humming away no issues.

Overall Review: I would but again when the price goes down. I have 2 14 Exos in a QNap nas and they are good. so far after a year. They are read / writing a lot of data not just sitting in the NAS.

This seller had the same card others were selling for way less. Yes I came from china which took a little longer but the seller supplied a tracking number right away so I could track it.

The product was as described. Good price Only issue was I emailed them about delivery after 6 days and dud not hearva response. I called new egg and they reached out to them and I got a tracking and delivery status. I am not trying to slam the company just letting them and others what happened to me. I would order from them agian and hopefully the will resolve the communication issues.

Mega Retail Store is a true 5 year warranty. I was very skeptical on ordering drives these days after hearing of people getting only 1 year non retail drives. I emailed Mega Retail Store they informed me that there drive come with a 5 year warranty. After receiving the drives I went to Seagate to verify the warranty with the serial numbers on the drive and they all had 5 years left on them. All I can say is for me the 2 drives I ordered from Mega Retail Store were in fact as stated by Mega Retail Store is a true 5 year warranty. Totally recommend them for a true 5 year warranty drive. I just ordered 3 14 TB from them and will do the review on them if the drives are 5 year or not.
