Quality components, well constructed, quick delivery.
Pros: * Well put together with nice cable routing* The component selection is very high quality throughout* Safely and secured packaged* Very fresh hardware - e.g memory modules with a fab date from a month ago (!), latest BIOS etc.* Quiet, already *extremely* fast and offering a huge amount of further upgrade/tuning potential* The only bloatware comes from the OS and hardware - barely anything to purge* No surprises, shortcuts, aggravating cost-cutting measures
Cons: * One of the fans on the EVGA AIO radiator sounds like a chainsaw. Can't see any packaging debris or obstacles and it is just that one fan. Seems like such a small flaw that I'll probably just replace it with a Noctua at my own expense. * The 2TB Intel SSD is the only component choice that seems slightly out of place; everything else is just a bit more premium.
Overall Review: TLDR: If you see another high performance build from ABS on Newegg, go for it. The market's a mess and this purchase was near immaculate. As you'd expect from a system assembled from these high quality components, it's a beast. I was a little worried about importing this to Canada but I was even more worried about the supply shortages so I bit the bullet and nuked my wallet. Now it's here just a few days later and I have no regrets. The purchase was quick and efficiently handled; the delivery (I stumped the extra for express) was prompt and with no paperwork or complications. The only other worry would have been the construction quality but that work is also great. I've professionally reviewed and assembled a lot of PC's over the years and can attest that this particular one has been built very neatly with no compromises. Although, the case is terrific so I expect the build wasn't terribly hard work. ;)This could have been a stressful exercise: purchasing a hugely expensive PC from across the border during a pandemic and a global supply chain crisis. But a few days after clicking I'm sitting here with a 3090-powered monster and no regrets. Given the state of the market, and what some of these *components* are fetching on auction sites here right now, yeah. I did dun gud. Thanks ABS & Newegg.
