Pros: Looks great on the outside. Love the mesh front.
Cons: Wish the back panel had another inch of space. My cpu power cable kinda pushes it out a little. Slight pain to build in.
Overall Review: Overall, it was decent to build in. I transplanted one of my older builds into this case (if I can't at least build a new computer, rebuild it in a new case 👍). Great that it was able to fit the Be Quiet Dark Rock Pro 4 inside!
Pros: Was delivered a day early! Works beautifully! The 3 button controllers that come with it are nice and responsive and feels great in my hands.
Cons: the 2 6-button controllers work fine, but they feel...wrong in my hands. They feel kind low-ish quality. They don't feel good to me.
Overall Review: Although overpriced, I guess it was still worth getting. Especially since I can add more games to it.
Pros: Better than my old speakers that cost about the same as these speakers on sale. Bass is nice. And I like that they look like traditional speakers (not weird, cheaply designed pc speakers).
Cons: Doesn't come with any input cables to plug into anything. Luckily, I had some cables laying around to plug this into my computer.
Overall Review: I read other reviews on here saying that the sound was garbage with the included wires, but they sound fine to me. Don't let that dissuade you from these speakers. I almost lost out on these.
Pros: Had this PSU for 8 years. Still powering my system through various builds!
Cons: Wasn't much of an issue when I bought bought it, but I guess not being modular is a slight pain now.
Pros: -Easiest install of a large CPU cooler I've ever had
-Got my sister's CPU idling at 26°
Cons: It can block tall ram sticks, but if you're buying a huge CPU air cooler, you should know this already.
Overall Review: If anyone has any issues installing this, you're doing something incredibly wrong. This thing is a piece of oreo cake!
Pros: Going from 60hz to 144hz is mind opening! My old monitor made me think that my system wasn't as powerful as I though, as none of my games (except Warframe) kept a consistent 60fps when playing. I switch to this monitor and, all of a sudden, my fps nearly doubles. And even though I have a gtx 1070, I have no screen tearing and everything moves smoothly!
Cons: None at the moment
Overall Review: My PC:
Ryzen 7 1700X OC'ed to 3.8GHz
Gigabyte AB350 Gaming Wifi Motherboard
16GB Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR4 RAM
Gigabyte GTX 1070 Mini
Some Hard Drives
Not weak at all, but my old monitor was definitely holding it back. 60Hz never again!
Pros: No leaks!
size is perfect
Overall Review: Does what I need and it does it well.
Pros: -Lights up my case nicely
-Plugs directly into the case (Phanteks Evolv Shift X, so pretty obvious that it should)
Cons: It gives off the colors it's supposed to, but if you look at the strip, the colors look separated. Just a slight annoyance
Overall Review: I bought this to light up the 1070 waterblock in my case. About to order another one to light up my motherboard more!
Pros: -good overclock
-layout was great for my case (Phanteks Evolv Shift X)
-@Bios was great to use
Cons: RGB Fusion is buggy and my lights keep defaulting or getting stuck on red after restarts
Overall Review: Was able to overclock my Ryzen 7 1700X to 3.9GHz and 1.4v with relative ease through the bios. Always liked Gigabyte products. My go-to pc parts manufacturer.
Pros: Instantly recognized, used as OS drive
Cons: wish I got the 512GB version
Overall Review: Didn't run any tests on it, but everything feels just as fast (maybe even a little more) as my ssds in my other pc.
-Works on my Ryzen platform
Overall Review: Pretty much works as intended. Also works with Gigabyte's RGB Fusion software (when it's not being buggy and works, but that's for a different product review).
Pros: -8 cores, 16 threads!
-Black Desert Online plays a lot smoother than my other pc (i5 6600K)
Cons: none really
Overall Review: Overclocked it to 3.9GHz at 1.4v. The highest temp I got was 69°C on water when benchmarking. My fps in Black Desert Online got a very minor bump, but it plays smoother (less hitching when moving across the world).
Cons: Leaks even when closed
Overall Review: Had to put a cap on it. Kinda just wanted it to work without the cap. Gonna make it slightly difficult to put the side glass back on my case.
Pros: -I love the form of this machine!!
-Plenty of places to hide cords (not my 24-pin power connector though)
-Kinda easy to build in
Cons: -Still kinda cramped at the top with the motherboard and the cables
-Wish the middle divider with the magnetic door was a little lower because I have the Gigabyte AB350N Gaming Wifi Motherboard which has the RAM slots at the bottom (for this case) of the board, so I'm fighting with cables (pretty much my 24-pin connector) to put the bottom one in.
-This one is probably just me, but I'm lost on how the reservoir mount actually really mounts into the bottom of the case. No matter what position (of the remaining space) I put it, I can only find spots to only screw in 2 screws out of 4 for it.
-The universal mount for reservoirs isn't really compatible with the Enermax Neochanger (I believe), but I made it fit anyways.
Overall Review: I know the cons look long, but this is a great case (LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT!) and my only REAL issue was bending the PETG tubing for this, which is a first for me, so had some trial and error, but not really an issue related to the case.
Pros: -Hits RPMs above 4000 (luck of the draw since I saw some reviews that were lower)
-Nice, clear display
-uses sata power connector instead of molex
Cons: See other thoughts
Overall Review: When I first turned it on (with distilled water, of course), it wasn't really pushing the water through my system. I tried the remote too but it still wasn't pumping. After a few flicks of the power button, it suddenly worked full force. That was weird.
Also, I haven't checked the lights yet, because I have it plugged into a controller that is not completely plugged in yet as I'm just doing a leak test right now. I'll update when all is complete.
Pros: Extends pretty far out, so it should be useful when building my computer(s) and other things that I like buying from Ikea.
Cons: See Other
Overall Review: I guess I read it wrong, but I thought it was magnetic in a way that the screws would stick to the bits so it would be WAY easier to put them in a computer case (tired of accidentally dropping them in, then maneuvering the case to get them out), but it's only magnetic with itself. Almost a waste of money, but I guess I wanted something like this anyways.
Update: Actually, they are magnetic with screws. Don't know why it didn't work the first few times, but it works now.
Also, wish I got the orange one instead. Not a fan of blue.
Pros: -Wires are separated
Cons: -Kinda not flexible enough, but I should be able to make it work.
Pros: The RGB is cool looking
Wonderful to build in
Cons: The USBs on top always disconnects the ext HDDs I plug into them. Not enough power I guess.
the top fan has stopped working. The RGB still works on it though.
Overall Review: For a case this cheap, I was actually expecting one or both of the fans to stop working. Wasn't expecting it to do it within days of getting it though. Other than that, it's a great case.
Pros: -size is perfect for my mini-itx case
-runs my games better than the R9 Nano!
-Runs cool (58°C max)
Cons: For some reason my Philips TV wouldn't get a signal from the card. Had to plug my monitor in until the drivers were installed and then it was recognised. the Nano never had that issue.
Overall Review: Pretty much getting way better fps on the 1070 vs the Nano (except on Black Desert Online, but that's more of a cpu issue more than a gpu issue.
Pros: -Pretty huge
Cons: -My mistake, but it's WAAAYY to big for my Corsair Graphite 380T. Didn't actually look at it's dimensions when purchasing.
Overall Review: I think it would've done it's job perfectly, but didn't fit. Had to go purchase something smaller. Passing this to a friend.
Pros: -great design
-comes with fans
-Fan controller that works (never had a working one before lol....)
-case feels sturdy
Cons: -Hard drive cage in the way of the power supply
Overall Review: Wasn't too hard building inside of it (and most of my issues came from my lack of planning). I took out the HDD cage because it was in my way. Probably leave it out and just have 2 SSDs in it (wonderfully placed too).
Pros: Very large compared to monitors I've had before. The 2560x1440 resolution, vibrant colors. Very fast shipping
Overall Review: Black friday sale, plus an instant $20 rebate put this at $199 with free shipping!! Price was right in my range!! Great second choice (was actually aiming for the 29" LG Ultrawide monitor, but was too late...).
Pros: Brought the Temps down considerably on my sister's PC. I had the stock cooler for her AMD installed for years and I guess it stopped working properly because her computer started shutting down when trying to play games or anything other than browsing.
Overall Review: Temps were cut in half with this (if I remember correctly, I believe the stock stopped working and temps got up to 70-75 degrees celsius).
Pros: Great Ram works great with no errors (with an exception; see other thoughts)
Cons: none so far.
Overall Review: Got 16GB of this ram in my computer. I've read up on tech sites that said if you try to put this much ram (or fill all the slots with ram) with a Phenom II cpu, it will default to ddr3 1066. Mines stayed at 1333 1.6v (which is what I had a few previous sticks sitting at) and it worked fine. I tried putting it at 1600 1.6v and ran memtest and I got errors. Reverted back it was fine. Guess I could've tried upping my volts, but I'm not one to keep messing with things as I don't have cash to burn on replacing parts or getting a new computer. If it works, no more tweaking :)
Pros: just like the original xclio windtunnel fans (seriously, same thing different sticker), which means the blow some seriously cool air through my case and keeps my legs cool in the az heat. The fans are actually pretty quiet for me, but that's probably because I'm used to hearing plane engines all the time.
Cons: Just like the original fans (seriously, they are), which means I wonder how long they will last...
Overall Review: One funny thing I'm encountering with these fans on. Some of my games get to stuttering until I turn off my fans. My video card doesn't "rev" up like it usually does until they're off. Got an 850w psu so I find it kinda weird.
