Feels cheap, but works
Pros: It works. It's cheap. The box itself is a surprisingly thick gauge - not flimsy at all
Cons: The rest of the thing is flimsy. The USB cable is A-A so it's hard to find (should be A-B or A-miniB). The connectors feel like they'll pull off without much use.
Worked fantastically until it didn't
Pros: Sounds great, nice and weighty, good pickup, directionality, noise cancellation, cheap, and so on. Mute button is convenient, though I didn't use it much.
Cons: Build quality wasn't so great. Shortly after I got it (month or two) the mic became more and more sensitive to neck position. It still works, but only if the neck is all the way back - which defeats the whole purpose.
Overall Review: I'm going to get another one, hoping the build quality on this is better. Last one wasn't from Newegg; this one will be.
Glad I beat the price on this!
Pros: I bought this over the summer and it's been going great ever since. I'm looking to buy another one once the flooding is sorted out. Nice, reasonably quick drive. Access times aren't really a huge factor for me, and this doesn't ever cause me to wait for anything.
Cons: None for me. This drive performs as advertised.
Overall Review: If you need to buy a drive right now, this is a good choice.
Bought two of these
Pros: Put one of these (4GB) in for a new build, then bought another one 2 weeks later. Great performance, good price, no complaints. I game and write software so I needed a good tradeoff between speed and size, and this seems to have done it. 8GB makes multiple VMs or a big compile a non-issue, and no problems with responsiveness in games or otherwise. Good-looking if you care about that sort of thing, which I didn't, but I do have a sort of a blue "theme" going inside my case and it's not the worst thing that these match.
Just what it says on the tin
Pros: Bought this to turn my desktop into a DVR. Works 100% great with Windows Media Center. Remote works great, has the buttons you need (and more!). Video quality is wonderful. Haven't even needed to use the RCA jack recording feature, but nice to know I can if I need to. Absolutely worth the money - it's almost the only thing out there that records 2 ClearQAM or NTSC channels at once, which is what I needed. I was glad I sprung the extra ~$20 for the remote.
Cons: None. Seriously, none. It takes a little time to set up, as these things do, but I haven't had to touch it in 3 months, over which time it's recorded nearly 2TB worth of video in HD and SD.
Overall Review: I was having trouble with the I/R eye, and I was losing my mind until I realized that I hadn't pushed the plug in far enough. It "feels" securely attached, but it goes one click further. Needless to say, it didn't work without a proper connection.
Absolutely fantastic card; rebate is a hassle
Pros: Blows away anything I've thrown at it. Portal 2, at 2048x1152 resolution, full quality, and 16xCQAA - 80-140FPS. Everything else is higher. I feel bad because I'm boring it, but it'll hold me for a few years - always a good thing for a GFX card to do. Included software is actually not bad, and includes an OC artifact scanner. I haven't had to do that yet. My first complete build, and far and away the biggest upgrade in my gaming life (from a laptop 9600GT) to the point where I'm not quite sure what to do. Two DVI-DL and a HDMI port means you can run 3 monitors with no trouble.
Cons: This card is so fantastic that my rebate troubles aren't even worth an egg. But I submitted all my paperwork about a month ago and haven't heard anything. Here's hoping - the $30 rebate factored rather heavily into me getting this card, and they did say it'd take a while.
Overall Review: Takes *two* PCIe power connectors. It includes two adapters from a standard Molex, but my PSU didn't need them. Make sure you have either two PCIe power connectors or two Molex available. Should be clear from the photo, but this is a 2-slot card. Don't need anything in the port adjacent to your x16 slot. Mini-HDMI? How odd. They include a dongle, but they have tons of room on the card for a full port.
