Awesome tablet

ASUS Eee Pad Transformer (TF101-A1) 1GB DDR2 Memory 10.1" 1280 x 800 Tablet Android 3.0 (Honeycomb)
ASUS Eee Pad Transformer (TF101-A1) 1GB DDR2 Memory 10.1" 1280 x 800 Tablet Android 3.0 (Honeycomb)

Pros: Fast, Beautiful screen, great battery life, Android 3.1 (this helped a ton with youtube playback), quality construction, price, Flash 10.3 works great. Most normal android apps work ok. Works great for casual internet browsing. HDMI mirror mode works almost perfectly and is a nice feature to have. Micro SDHC support works perfectly, easily transfer files between the internal storage and the card or vice versa.

Cons: The laptop dock and case are sold separately and are kind of expensive (but I don't really have a need for them right now). Not all normal android apps work with Honeycomb. Lack of app's optimized for Honeycomb (I am sure this will improve dramatically overtime, android had the same problem when it launched, just need to give it a little time). But some apps do scale just fine.

Overall Review: Great value.

Most Critical Review

Update to my first review written on 2/12/2013

XFX Double D FX-797A-TDBC Radeon HD 7970 Black Edition 3GB 384-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card
XFX Double D FX-797A-TDBC Radeon HD 7970 Black Edition 3GB 384-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card

Pros: When not artifacting the card does an admirable job with most games. But this review is to express my displeasure with XFX and their customer service.

Cons: I have owned 3 XFX cards in the past (6870, 6950 and the 7970) and I never once had an issue before my 7970 started artifacting. I tried to RMA on the newly outsourced "XFX Customer Support" site, it is probably one of the worst web experiences I have ever had. The site is hard to use, has very poorly written english, and for the most part it is broken. When XFX transitioned over, only one of my 3 cards registration info was transferred over to the new site. So thus making RMA basically impossible. XFX has proven to me that they do not care about the customer. They have lost a customer for life, and I am sure many will follow in my footsteps after they experience what I have. XFX is a mess right now, DO NOT BUY XFX PRODUCTS

Overall Review: I am amazed a company this size could have such poor customer service.

Great Mobo with Core i5 3570 Ivy Bridge

ASRock P67 EXTREME4 GEN3 LGA 1155 Intel P67 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
ASRock P67 EXTREME4 GEN3 LGA 1155 Intel P67 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: In order to get this motherboard running with an IVY Bridge processor you must first update BIOS. I used the instant flash feature via USB and by what seemed like magic, my BIOS was updated and I was able to successfully use my new Core i5 3570 CPU. I never really received a dialogue that it was updated, it just kind of all the sudden worked. It was strange, but when I went into BIOS sure enough it was spitting out all the info I needed about my new CPU. But other than that, it has been great so far, tons of PCI slots, looks great, USB 3.0, PICe 3.0, SATAIII, etc.

Cons: None, after the BIOS update. This mobo is a pleasure to work with.

Love it!

Belkin Bluetooth Car Hands-Free Kit, Belkin AirCast Auto
Belkin Bluetooth Car Hands-Free Kit, Belkin AirCast Auto

Pros: I love this thing. Great price from Newegg. I like that they give you some extra wires to make your connections. In order to rig it the way I wanted, I needed some extra length. It was very easy to set up and I had no problems pairing it with my android phone. The built in controls also work perfectly. Tap once to pause, twice to skip to the next track. I happen to like the fact that it does not automatically pair with your phone every time you start the car. It only takes a click of the button to pair, so its not that big of a deal. It works from a good distance too, I was in my garage, outside of the car skipping tracks and adjusting volume. One thing though. If you notice a static noise coming from your speakers when you use your normal connection, you will have the same issue with this thing. You will need to pick up a ground loop isolator to fix this problem. But once I installed the GLI, everything sounded perfect.

Cons: Kind of expensive overall, but Newegg had the best price by far.

Awesome +2 free games

XFX Radeon HD 6950 1GB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 CrossFireX Support Video Card with Eyefinity HD695XZDDC
XFX Radeon HD 6950 1GB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 CrossFireX Support Video Card with Eyefinity HD695XZDDC

Pros: So far the card is preforming perfectly. For $239 (after $30 MIR) you cannot beat the price and value, especially since I received not 1, but 2 free games. As of 8/31/11, I simply registered my card on XFX's website and received a free copy of Dirt 3! This is on top of my free copy of Deus Ex that came bundled with the card. That is basically a $100 value, Check AMD's website to see if the Dirt 3 promo is still going on. I don't really have any benchmarks to share as of yet, but so far I have noticed that Deus Ex is running in the 60-70+ FPS range maxed out, and GTAIV runs in the 40+ range maxed out.

Cons: Box was slightly damaged during shipping, but that is not likely the fault of Newegg.

Excellent RAM

CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin PC RAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9
CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin PC RAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9

Pros: Very good price/quality ratio. $59 for 8GB of high quality DDR3 memory was a steal. Have not OC'd yet but is preforming perfectly @1600 MHz. Upgraded from 4GB to 8GB and the difference is definitely noticeable when playing graphically demanding games. Looks great in my motherboard.

Cons: It is quite tall compared to most other RAM modules. Wasn't a problem for me, but you should probably make sure it will fit before buying. I should have just got 16GB at that price.
