Upgrading from 1070 for video editing and gaming

MSI Ventus GeForce RTX 3080 Ti 12GB GDDR6X PCI Express 4.0 ATX Video Card RTX 3080 Ti Ventus 3X 12G OC
MSI Ventus GeForce RTX 3080 Ti 12GB GDDR6X PCI Express 4.0 ATX Video Card RTX 3080 Ti Ventus 3X 12G OC

Overall Review: Rendering with premiere is about 3x faster than my old Intel 6 core with this card and a 5950x. Gaming is perfect for my usage. Samsung q series runs 120hz refresh at 1440p and haven't had a game yet drop below 75 fps on max everything. Cyberpunk taxes the card to 70s and 80s temp levels. Quieter than I thought. Dlss is better than expected. Msi motherboard needs an update and Bar can be used. If I get 5 years like the last one I guess it'll be worth it. Nvidia could have helped us put with pricing but let it's partners cash in. Orig msrp was steep, just under 1900 was enough to leave a mark

Works with Asrock Taichi and 6800k

Ballistix Sport LT 64GB (4 x 16GB) DDR4 2400 (PC4 19200) Desktop Memory Model BLS4K16G4D240FSE
Ballistix Sport LT 64GB (4 x 16GB) DDR4 2400 (PC4 19200) Desktop Memory Model BLS4K16G4D240FSE

Pros: 64GB kit was the least expensive I could find.

Cons: After updating the BIOS (which is being done regularly as of this writing) it still only recognized 2 slots at 32GB. After reseating and changing swapping the Ram chips around (same slots) it recognized all of them. Also the latency may be an issue for some, it's up there.

Overall Review: Too early to tell about performance as I've just assembled and haven't gotten to the OS yet, I'll post if I discover any problems.

Upgrading from 780, impressed

EVGA GeForce GTX 1070 SC GAMING ACX 3.0, 08G-P4-6173-KR, 8GB GDDR5, LED, DX12 OSD Support (PXOC)
EVGA GeForce GTX 1070 SC GAMING ACX 3.0, 08G-P4-6173-KR, 8GB GDDR5, LED, DX12 OSD Support (PXOC)

Pros: Clocks stable at 2000 and 4000 memory, pushed pass that and get some issues (Metro last light/Witcher 3) Crazy cool - 780 would hit 85 to 90 on Witcher 3, not passing 65 yet and most are in the 50s temp Makes revisiting games and maxing out the settings better and replayable.

Cons: Tad inflated on the price, but I get it.

Fast and Stable

EVGA SuperClocked 03G-P4-2783-KR G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 780 3GB 384-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 SLI Support Video Card
EVGA SuperClocked 03G-P4-2783-KR G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 780 3GB 384-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 SLI Support Video Card

Pros: Overclocks much better than expected. Excellent build quality. Quiet. Idle temps are 38 to 40, OC run at 75 (Metro Last Night Maxed out)

Cons: No bundles whatsoever.

Overall Review: 3.99 to your door takes about a week.
