Intel Core i3-3245 - Core i3 3rd Gen Ivy Bridge Dual-Core 3.4 GHz LGA 1155 55W Intel HD Graphics 4000 Desktop Processor - BX80637I33245
Intel Core i3-3245 - Core i3 3rd Gen Ivy Bridge Dual-Core 3.4 GHz LGA 1155 55W Intel HD Graphics 4000 Desktop Processor - BX80637I33245

Pros: Low price, HD4000 graphics

Cons: Performance??

Overall Review: On paper, this chip is less powerful than the i5, but it is $100 less. I have seen no performance issues while browsing, listening to music and watching videos. I also do some minor photo editing, and have not seen any slow-downs.

Has just about everything you'll need

GIGABYTE GA-H77N-WIFI LGA 1155 Intel H77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Mini ITX Intel Motherboard
GIGABYTE GA-H77N-WIFI LGA 1155 Intel H77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Mini ITX Intel Motherboard

Pros: Easy installation & setup. Solid board. Good equipment for a mITX board. The USB 3.0 header was exactly what I needed for my IN WIN case (2 USB 3.0 ports on the front cover). I installed a universal internal card reader that used the USB 2.0 header. I didn't know what to expect, but was grateful to find both on the board.

Cons: Would have liked a VGA port so I could use an old 4x3 LED monitor as a second screen, but I wouldn't trade the 2 HDMI ports for 1 HDMI and 1 VGA. Intel WiFi/BT PCIe card doesn't function with Mac OS X, but I'm hoping to swap it for one that will.

Overall Review: No problems routing cables around the board, and the heads are quite accessible, even in a tight case.
