Decent little mouse pad

ASUS ROG Whetstone Gaming Mouse Pad
ASUS ROG Whetstone Gaming Mouse Pad

Pros: -Smooth surface. -Easy to clean for a fabric mouse pad. -Looks fantastic on your desk with other ROG gear.

Cons: -For a $40 mouse pad I was expecting it to be...bigger...It's still a decent size, but for $10 less you can get a 36" x 11" mouse pad from other gaming peripheral companies. I suppose it depends on how much mouse space you need, I find it's still enough for my needs, however be sure you measure the dimensions yourself before you pull the trigger in case you want something bigger (or smaller)

Overall Review: All in all it completes an ROG theme build if you're going for it. I'm rather happy with it.

Most Critical Review

Doesn't Work with Corsair's Own Mouse

Corsair Vengeance MM400 CH-9000016-WW Hard Plastic Gaming Mouse Mat
Corsair Vengeance MM400 CH-9000016-WW Hard Plastic Gaming Mouse Mat

Pros: It's big, the surface practically has my mouse gliding across it, and it looks really slick despite the flat black color.

Cons: It doesn't work with the Corsair M45 Raptor I bought with the pad. I'm guessing it's because the black surface is too reflective for the sensor. Either way the mouse cursor will move on screen even when the mouse itself is not moving and when I -do- move it I have to fight with it to get any kind of accuracy out of it.

Overall Review: At first I thought it was a problem with my Raptor, but I pulled out an older (And smaller...) hard surface mouse mat, cleaned it off, and the Raptor works 100% fine. I'll still be buying Corsair, was just a little disappointed one of their own mice didn't work on this pad.

Adorable

MSI Gift - Dragon Collectable
MSI Gift - Dragon Collectable

Pros: It's adorable

Cons: Can't get the ears/horns to stay upright

Overall Review: Got this little guy with some other MSI products. He's adorable sitting beside my tower.

Simple and looks good

New Sades eSports Gaming Headphone Cradle Headphone Stand, Senheiser display rack, Headset Hanger Holder
New Sades eSports Gaming Headphone Cradle Headphone Stand, Senheiser display rack, Headset Hanger Holder

Pros: Not much to stay on this one, it's a headphone stand. If you're going for a general color scheme for your desk then this isn't a bad choice. It's sturdy once fully assembled and doesn't move around much on my desk.

Cons: It's 99% plastic (There are rubber caps where you set your headphones), but as said in the pros it's still solid with everything put together and I mean...come on...we're not going to be stressing this thing out.

Overall Review: If you're looking for an industrial looking headphone/headset holder in either black/red or black/blue then this is a good choice. It looks pretty nice sitting on my desk, matches my computer and other gaming peripherals. Actually got a couple of remarks from friends of mine and they're now buying their own.

Great for a Gaming Headset

SENNHEISER GAME ONE 3.5mm Connector Circumaural Gaming Headset
SENNHEISER GAME ONE 3.5mm Connector Circumaural Gaming Headset

Pros: 1) Far as gaming headsets go the quality is there. Sound is clean. Bear in mind this also depends on the quality of your computer audio as well. 2) Mic quality is good. I've always had problems with previous gaming headsets having strange audio with mics. This one puts my voice through nice and clear. 3) Comfortable. I can wear these all day and not have any discomfort at all. 4) Mute. I cannot tell you how convenient it is in a high traffic house to be able to just flip the mic up to mute myself. Before I'd have to fumble for a mute button on the cord of headset itself and hope whoever I was talking to didn't hear whatever loud noises went on behind me. With this I just flip the mic up and no worries.

Cons: 1) Price. Goes without saying...this is one of the most expensive headsets out there.

Overall Review: Now to go back to my first line as far as gaming headsets go this one is the king. Sennheiser has great quality behind their name and it shows in this headset. You are not going to get the "audiophile" grade sound from these things (The sound is still great), but that's not what you're paying for here. Like with any headset you're getting voice and sound through the same device and, as far as that goes, this is a great product.

Last bit of bling to the build

Corsair Hydro Series H100i GTX Extreme Performance Water / Liquid CPU Cooler. 240mm (CW-9060021-WW)
Corsair Hydro Series H100i GTX Extreme Performance Water / Liquid CPU Cooler. 240mm (CW-9060021-WW)

Pros: - Aesthetically this thing completes your build. The black and silver will match a good number of cases, mobos, and so on. The RGB lighting is also a very welcome thing. - Performance I've not had a single issue with it. Modest little OC on my 4790k (4.5 @ 1.23V, nothing big) and it hit maybe around 67-69 C highest during a 2 hour stress test. Results will vary, my gaming room has a lower ambient temp than most (65 F)...

Cons: - Tubes are very stiff. I had trouble positioning it the way I was wanting to due to the tubes jolting back into odd positions. It's like they want to stay completely straight at all times. Eventually got it worked out to a point they weren't pressing against my rear exhaust fan, but it was a little odd.

Overall Review: - Figured I'd do my Corsair Link tidbit here. I had no issues running the USB cable from the pump block to my USB header as the cable provided has sufficient length to be run like any other cable in the case. I installed the Corsair Link software prior to connecting the pump and after starting the PC up Corsair Link immediately recognized the cooler. After familiarizing myself with Corsair Link's interface I haven't had a bit of issue with it and it has kept the same settings I set it to consistently since I have had the cooler. - One issue I need to note. I originally ordered this cooler to go in a Corsair 250D build. For those familiar with the case it has very precise measurements for a 240mm cooler installation and was built around the original H100i. This cooler is 2mm thicker than the H100i and from other testimonies I figured it would fit. It WOULD have fit if I had used any other motherboard than the one I chose. I chose the Asus Maximus Impact VII. The power phase board sticking out the top of the board was just enough to make the cooler not fit. Any other micro-ATX board would have worked, so buyer beware if you are wanting to use this cooler and Maximus Impact mobo in a 250D. (This is not criticism of the product as all the information to prevent this was available, just overlooked on my part). Regular H100i still fits fine even with the Impact.
