Pros: Solid construction. Endless features. Unbelievably easy setup and configuration. Awesome product. The management UI was developed with tremendous diligence -- it's intuitive and classy. There are many layers for authenticating users for different partitions and services. Oh, and setting up DynDNS for website hosting is a breeze.

Cons: There's support for FTP with SSL, but not SFTP. That's really all I can think of (and it's not even that big of a deal for me).

Overall Review: I did over three months of research to find a NAS server for my home and couldn't be more satisfied with my selection. I was hesitant to by the DS108j because it has a slower processor and a less memory than other models, but the drive performs flawlessly. This NAS is worth every penny. I can only imagine other Synology products are just as amazing.
