Pros: Cheap and replaceable.

Cons: tray gets stuck and I have to pry it open with my fingers.

Overall Review: I bought a bunch of these for a duplicator and then slowly starting stealing them from that for pc builds when needed.

Eh.

Intel Bunny People Keytag
Intel Bunny People Keytag

Pros: Easy to mod Came with free i5 Got lost all by itself

Cons: bulky Integrated graphics are subpar bought it for the price of an i5

This cpu is so old now but it's still running

Intel Core i5-760 - Core i5 Lynnfield Quad-Core 2.8 GHz LGA 1156 95W Desktop Processor - BX80605I5760
Intel Core i5-760 - Core i5 Lynnfield Quad-Core 2.8 GHz LGA 1156 95W Desktop Processor - BX80605I5760

Pros: will probably last forever (in computer years)

Cons: doesn't automatically update to latest cpu's :P

Overall Review: I run this cpu 24/7 for over 6 years and it's still ticking! It's relatively fast for it's age but nothing special and way outdated by now.

Still going

CORSAIR XMS3 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) Desktop Memory Model CMX8GX3M2A1333C9

Pros: - it does what it's supposed to.

Cons: - it doesn't do things it isn't supposed to.

Overall Review: There's not a lot I can say about ram, but I've had this memory for over 6 years and it's still doing the job.

PC Power & Cooling ModXStream Pro Series 600 Watt 80+ Semi-Modular Active PFC Performance Grade ATX PC Power Supply (OCZ600MXSP)
PC Power & Cooling ModXStream Pro Series 600 Watt 80+ Semi-Modular Active PFC Performance Grade ATX PC Power Supply (OCZ600MXSP)

Pros: 600W for very little money! I like the fact that you can plug in only the cables you need to the PSU (Don't need all 6 SATA power cables? plug in just 1 strip of 3 etc) It also came with a nice carry case for the spare cables.

Cons: None so far.

Overall Review: Came in nice packaging, way nicer than I was expecting for the price I paid. As long as this doesn't go bad in the first few months I can totally recommend this psu. I bought this bundled with NORCO RPC-450B 4U Rackmount Server Case for $119 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811219030

Not too shabby

NORCO RPC-450B Black 4U Rackmount Server Case 3 External 5.25" Drive Bays
NORCO RPC-450B Black 4U Rackmount Server Case 3 External 5.25" Drive Bays

Pros: This case seems to be pretty solid - I've had a couple of really cheap cases that were made out of thin aluminum like a pop can. Everything fits nicely thanks to the spacious 4U design. It has more 3.5 bays than I will probably ever use - 11 bays! And 2.5 5.25 bays (I say 2.5 because one of the 11 3.5 bays is rigged up in a 5.25, so you'll lose one to gain the other). It comes with 2 120mm fans in front to keep your drives cold. They push quite a bit of air. Installation was a snap. The motherboard risers were already where I needed them and this case came with plenty of screws to lock everything into place.

Cons: Front door doesn't stay closed when unlocked... That's not an issue for me, but I would like to leave the keys in so I don't lose them - this isn't possible.

Overall Review: Understandable, this being an OEM product, but I would have liked a one page diagram or online manual. This is my first server case and didn't realize how to mount the hard drives at first. I quickly discovered the plastic drive mounts for easy slide in and out access so not too much time was spent on that. This case has 2 120mm fans that are really loud, but expected in a server case - I might end up adding in 2 80mm in the back. I bought this case bundled with OCZ ModXStream Pro OCZ600MXSP 600W PSU for $119 which seems like a killer deal http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817341017
