Great Value for Price

iView SupraPad i700 Tablet - Intel Dual Core 2 GB RAM / 16GB Flash Memory 7.0" Touchscreen Android 4.4 (KitKat) with Case, Google Certified - GMS
iView SupraPad i700 Tablet - Intel Dual Core 2 GB RAM / 16GB Flash Memory 7.0" Touchscreen Android 4.4 (KitKat) with Case, Google Certified - GMS

Pros: The i700 came with a custom folio, a 5V 1.5A charger, microUSB, cable, an On-The-Go cable, and a cheap pair of headphones. The case was "pleather" and folds into be a stand. The i700 is attractive with all the connections/power button/volume toggle are on the top. The i700 powered up with 87% charge, and quickly powered to 100% quickly. The battery is good, not fantastic. About 5 hours of streaming Netflix, and 8-9 hours of eBook w/ WiFi on (I actually tested this during a 100%-power off D/C during first couple of days). Using the charger it takes less than 3 hours to be fully charged - obviously much slower on the USB. The screen resolution is fine for a 7" tablet - 1024 x 600 (196 dpi) is good for video/games. The multi-touch capacitive screen works fine. The i700 comes with lots of memory. The Android OS uses all the ssD as internal memory, and the sD slot as the sD expansion - this has the advantage of being able to download and keep almost all apps in internal storage. The processor/video seem adequately fast - plays Kill Shot and Clash of Clans run without lag (all this is subjective). WiFi works. I haven't tested the Bluetooth or OTG functions. There are already third party vendors for screen protectors - a good sign the market predicts volume sales. I like this product a lot - it is a lot of functions - it's not perfect, but great at the price - I'm getting my sons each one of these for Christmas.

Cons: The product itself is great - the box had lots of errors -"Tablet PC" instead of "Android" tablet - "keyboard case" instead of tablet case - "1080p HDMI support"??? - "stereo speaker" - an oxymoron. Unfortunately the folds of the folio make the front of the case soft, and not able to protect the screen. The tablet can be reversed as the back offers much more protection from crush. The microUSB slot is very deep - it required a small screwdriver to lock into place. The advantage of this is the card won't be accidentally displaced. The shell and buttons have a slightly plastic feel, makes me wonder about durability. The 0.3 MP front camera is useless/awful - the 2 MP rear camera is much better. The sound on the tablet is a mono speaker with borderline volume - can't be heard over baseline back round noise. Also, there is no equalization/DSP on the sound. The RCA stereo jack works fine, although the volume (power out) seems less than other devices I hook up. Not rooted device, but may be in the future...

Good while it lasted

SanDisk Sansa Fuze 1.9" Black 8GB MP3 / MP4 Player
SanDisk Sansa Fuze 1.9" Black 8GB MP3 / MP4 Player

Pros: Works with Rhapsody which lets you hear 80% of recorded music. Video is viewable upright.

Cons: Had difficulties powering up when 4G mSDC card inserted (could have been the card - don't know) - had to remove, reset, then power up. Eventually the screen started flickering, then the back (?battery) got hot and it burned out.

Overall Review: Lasted about 8 months - refurb'ed product - probably got my money's worth, but seems pretty bad...

I have two of these...both still running fine.

BIOSTAR TA790GXE 128M AM3/AM2+ AMD 790GX HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard
BIOSTAR TA790GXE 128M AM3/AM2+ AMD 790GX HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: I've had two of these boards for over 5 years - both still perform flawlessly. The first has an Athlon II x 4 620/4 DDR2/GeForce 210 which my son is playing League of Legends on. The second is a Phenom II 545 with unlocked cores (Phenom II 845)/6G DDR2/GeForce 7900GS and I'm typing on it now. I think I got my moneys' worth....

Cons: The on board video is OK, but I suspect the 128MBytes of side port memory is gimmicky - never caught on did it...

Overall Review: Had two of these boards - both died after 3+ years...I guess I got my money's worth..

wow...Wow...WOW

ASUS GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 Video Card GTX750TI-OC-2GD5
ASUS GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 Video Card GTX750TI-OC-2GD5

Pros: Runs Batman Arkham Asylum at 50-60 FPS, quite (system fans are louder) and a fantastic price - with the rebate this is definitely the max performance/price I could buy...

Cons: No SLI, but I never buy two cards...so doesn't matter to me...

Overall Review: Ok - this is my first upgrade in 4-5 years, so maybe I'm over reacting....

Great Board at a Great Price

ASUS M5A78L-M/USB3 AM3+ AMD 760G + SB710 USB 3.0 HDMI uATX AMD Motherboard
ASUS M5A78L-M/USB3 AM3+ AMD 760G + SB710 USB 3.0 HDMI uATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: Worked perfectly out of the box - now have USB3 ports without a using a PCI card.

Cons: The on board is fine for internet or video, but not any kind of gaming. Definitely a little bit of old iron - only 3Gb/s SATA, but really, for this price, I'm nitpicking...

Overall Review: Replaced a 785G board that went bad (I had three 785G boards go bad, none ASUS, so I needed a AM3+ replacement board) - I am going to look for other ASUS for my other two AM3+ processors - maybe a full ATX board.

They fixed the problem...I think...

Pros: Revised review...the company responded to my problem. The company sent me a firmware update to fix the Netflix problem three days after I RMA'ed the product. If I had been informed, I would have kept the product. Lots of tech for the money.

Cons: Little documentation...if you need someone to hold your hand, this is not your product. The battery life is OK...not great.
