Solid Storage

Pros: -Price per GB (especially if you get it on sale) -User Friendly (easy to set-up) -Quiet -Efficient (low power consumption) -Reliable
Cons: -None
Overall Review: Be aware of what you need your hard drive for; the Western Digital Green series is for storage (i.e. music, video, documents and picture collections). It is not intended to be used for your primary OS drive or to run games. If you buy this hard drive for storage you will be very pleased (long life, low power consumption and quiet). If you buy it for performance - "you're going to have a bad time."

ASUS P8Z77-V LE

Pros: -Price -Reliability -Speed [Native USB 3.0 SATA III] -User friendly (GUI) -Easy Installation
Cons: -Compatibility [See "Other thoughts"]
Overall Review: This has been a solid motherboard and I am very pleased with my purchase. There have been a few compatibility issues with the board though. Most notably USB compatibility. My favorite mouse [GIGABYTE M6800] did not work no matter what I did (Mobo/mouse drivers, UPnP, etc.) so unfortunately I had to buy a similar mouse style and settle for that. Other USB devices such as card readers and keyboards failed to respond when plugged into the mobo USB ports. Again, different models would be fine - rather confusing, but still a very solid mobo. Overclocking is a breeze too, the GUI is very user friendly and intuitive. Been running the system below for 2-years with no trouble. Samsung Spinpoint F3

Pros: -Reliability -Speed -Price -Easy of Installation
Cons: -None
Overall Review: Wonderful hard-drive (HDD)! It is a shame that Samsung in no longer producing the Spinpoint line of HDDs. I have both a 2TB and 1TB versions. They have lasted nearly 2 years with numerous reformats and are still running strong. If you can find these models anywhere then pick them up - worth their weight in gold.
nVidia Batman Arkham Origins Gift

Pros: -Price [FREE ^_^] -Works [Downloadable through steam] -DLC included :-O
Cons: -None
Overall Review: Not enough to dock an egg but I bought a graphics card with this bundled as a gift and less than a week later a holiday bundle was released making my card cheaper and including two additional games. Rotten luck, maybe Newegg will throw me a bone ;-) P.S. I had no trouble redeeming my code, it seems others have; I recommend checking out their reviews to see how they remedied that situation.
G.Skill Ripjaws X (2 x 8GB) 1600

Pros: -Performance (excellent speed, 1600Mhz, 9cas) -Price (<$9 per GB) -Compatibility (quick install, immediately recognized) -Durability (been running for over a year without any issues) -Color (blue is a perfect color for Intel themed mobos)
Cons: -None
Overall Review: I personally never like using all four RAM slots on my mobo so I opted to get a (2x8GB) kit instead of a (4x4GB) kit. It's definitely more RAM (16GB) than I'll need for the next few years for sure. Very quick install and my Intel mobo immediately recognized the RAM and set its XMP (extreme memory profile) to 1600MHz, 9CAS. I have used this RAM, in my system below for over a year, without any issues.
