Pros: Easy to install Pretty Silent i7-7700K 4.5 GHz. Runs at 43-48C while running 5 VMs each under heavy compute load, always above 80% cpu; Ambient 22C-26C depending on time of year. Used for two years and still keeps the cpu happy.

Pros: Honestly its impressive how bad this motherboard is for how much it costs. Its almost like designed to be maximally incompatible with windows. Ubuntu installed at least without another computer being needed. Lots of hardware didnt work with in kernel drivers. XMR worked once setup to the values for CORSAIR Vengeance RGB 64GB (2 x 32GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR5 6400 (PC5 51200) Desktop Memory Model CMH64GX5M2N6400C32W. Be mindful that this ram only lets you slot 1dpc. Was not an issue for me as i only wanted 64gb but check the supported ram. its much choosier than i recall ddr4 being with my previous computers mobo.

Cons: You can't install windows ten or eleven, even with a usb with all the drivers available from the mfg. Tried with just a SAMSUNG 990 EVO PLUS SSD in the pcie5 m2 slot, as well as moving it to different slots, with sata tried with a Seagate IronWolf Pro, with a Crucial P3 Plus in m2 slots and with the intel vmd on and off. Had to install windows on another computer remove the Crucial P3 Plus m2 and put it in here to boot. I didnt even know it was possible to get windows setup to fail out for missing drivers, now i do. The 2.5g ethernet only worked consistently on windows 10. In 11 it randomly just stops sending packets which is neat. In linux land it needs a custom driver which means not really proxmox friendly. The acpi settings are trashfire and will run cpu0 at 100% in proxmox and ubuntu as it changes power state constantly as well as sending undefined codes. tried a few workarounds to disable the lines it was listening at and nothing persisted past reboots. Tried with f8 and f15 bios versions. The wifi only works in windows 11 and ubuntu, not 10 nor proxmox but proxmox not working is to be expected with wifi. Does not just disable the 6ghz band on ten, just fully disabled the built in wifi. bit locker will not work, even with windows installed and the only disk the motherboard refuses to leave setup mode.

Overall Review: It works okay for windows once you manage to get it setup but wowwie, this thing was the worst setup experience ive had with windows to the point of it being unable to install windows, and worst linux machine compatibility ive had since the early 2000s.
