Transfer Rate: 72.7 MB/Sec Access Time: 12.5 ms Burst Rate: 146.8 MB/Sec Operating Temp: 87 degrees F I have to say this drive scores better Samsung: Avg. Transfer Rate: 107.9 MB/Sec Access Time: 13.9 ms Burst Rate: 163.8 MB/Sec Operating Temp: 84 f maybe you should think about that before you get a wd black

Cons: EVERYTHING i got this i pod touch and it was trash out of the box. it had a wire sticking out of the side!!!!! what is that????? i would play music but the wifi and location services did not work. that is the main point of even spending the money for a touch.
