Over priced, took 5 weeks5/13/2020 1:00:55 PM

Pros: None.

Cons: What part of 'Over priced, took 5 weeks' do you not get?

Overall Review: OK, now you're really starting to pizz me off. Do I need to get my wife 'Karen'?

Avoid.5/31/2019 7:23:24 PM

Pros: This section intentionally left blank.<side eye>

Cons: Wrist band will not last long. The unit is very difficult to remove from band for charging. An anomaly showed up on the display for which I have no clue as to how it got there. It's a stress crease or something but I'm not even that active with the tracker so no idea how it appeared. Should be a theme that shows heart rate with time. Should not have to 'activate' the heart rate monitoring feature and wait for a reading. The app sucks too.

Overall Review: Buy something else. P.S. Remember that 'One Egg' = 'NO EGGS' as there are no provisions to give it a true 'Egg'.(Zero)

Very nice for the price.5/9/2019 12:13:31 AM

Pros: Light weight, easily adjustable. Nice 'quick release' pad. Pleasantly surprised the quality and usefullness for the price. This is just right for the price.

Cons: The 'D' shaped thumb screw on the bottom of the 'quick release' pad hangs down and just kind of flops there, making it hard to place the camera back in the slotted holder. You have to either tilt the whole tripod in a near 90 degree angle or loosen the thumb screw that allows the base to tilt 90 degrees and then tilt that to allow the quick release pad to properly fit back into the holder.

Overall Review: Don't be expecting high grade metal/aluminum heavy duty construction in this, it's very light weight because it clearly states it's purpose is for travel, so there are things like plastic gears and stuff. If you need an everyday tripod, buy one built for that purpose.

My first (and later second) SSD drive5/3/2018 12:13:07 PM

Pros: I'm not knowledgeable about all the speed comparisons for SSD drives, but I include my specs if it helps others. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- CrystalDiskMark 6.0.0 x64 (C) 2007-2017 hiyohiyo Crystal Dew World : crystalmark(DOT)info ----------------------------------------------------------------------- * MB/s = 1,000,000 bytes/s [SATA/600 = 600,000,000 bytes/s] * KB = 1000 bytes, KiB = 1024 bytes Sequential Read (Q= 32,T= 1) : 548.668 MB/s Sequential Write (Q= 32,T= 1) : 483.958 MB/s Random Read 4KiB (Q= 8,T= 8) : 390.363 MB/s [ 95303.5 IOPS] Random Write 4KiB (Q= 8,T= 8) : 334.673 MB/s [ 81707.3 IOPS] Random Read 4KiB (Q= 32,T= 1) : 319.709 MB/s [ 78054.0 IOPS] Random Write 4KiB (Q= 32,T= 1) : 277.330 MB/s [ 67707.5 IOPS] Random Read 4KiB (Q= 1,T= 1) : 33.704 MB/s [ 8228.5 IOPS] Random Write 4KiB (Q= 1,T= 1) : 126.635 MB/s [ 30916.7 IOPS] Test : 1024 MiB [C: 43.4% (193.6/446.5 GiB)] (x5) [Interval=5 sec] Date : 2018/05/03 14:37:25 OS : Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 [6.1 Build 7601] (x64) ----------------------------------------------------------------------- THE PRICE! Bought first @$110, 4 days later there was a special for $99.99. While it took way more emails than what I was expecting to get the $10 credit I feel I deserved, I did eventually get it. The difficulty came as a huge surprise as NewEgg Customer Support has always gone beyond any other company's support in dealings with them before. Even so, I still stand by the EXCELLENT service NewEgg consistently delivers.(I give them a pass for the one slow instance mentioned above) I then bought a second drive a week later, again at a price of $99.99. (If able, I may update this review to include the second purchased drive's CrystalDiskMark specs.) I have other TEAM memory products and have had no issues. I do a nightly backup regime so I feel I can safely go forward despite a few reviews mentioning failures after some time.

Cons: I really have no 'Cons' regarding the drive, it is early and it has met my expectations thus far.

Overall Review: I used AOMEI Partition Assistant to migrate my 2x 1TB WD Blue in RAID1 configuration(cleaned up to approx. 200GB used space). All went well except my own error thinking I could set BIOS to AHCI because I was not using RAID1 going forward. This resulted in BSOD upon boot attempts. I searched and found it is recommended to leave the setting as RAID, as the single system drive will be recognized and operate just fine. This also allows me to easily later reuse my previous 1TB RAID1 drives for data later if I should decide to.

Realistic reviews of the product would be nice9/6/2014 7:25:22 PM

Pros: Near the top, if not at the top of the ratings at Passmark for like speed/capacity ram. Price. At the time of my purchase I was able to get two sticks for under $130.

Cons: I guess this is a con, 'selling single sticks of RAM'. It seems that if you don't spell it out for everybody that two sticks are needed in a dual channel mobo, they'll just blame their ignorance on the mfgr. or NewEgg, ...ridiculous.

Overall Review: Why are people blaming shipping on G.Skill? These reviews are for the PRODUCT, not the transaction. Why are people blaming G.Skill because 'they' didn't know dual channel meant needing two sticks? When the price point is right on this memory, ie. sale, Shell Shocker etc., you're going to be getting high quality ram for your money. I don't normally write reviews, but G.Skill has gotten a raw deal on some prior reviews.
