Cons: - Delivery took awhile
- Screws didn't fit the PCI mounts for case
Additionally, the screws seem to have been charged? One slipped out of my hand and dropped onto the board, after which nothing would boot. This might've just been unrelated, but I've been building for a good while now and didn't have another explanation.
Overall Review: Maybe avoid these.
Pros: -Nothing has melted! This is about all I can ask for when dealing with extension cables for a power supply.
Cons: -A bit stiff? The combs are nice, but geometrically restrictive when bending around a tight corner.
-Feels pricey for what they are, but reviews of cheaper versions (and their problems) seem to indicate the non-linear difference in cost : quality for going with Thermaltake.
Pros: -Feels sturdy, nice backplate.
-Runs cool and quiet, without the LEDs we wouldn't know it's there.
Cons: -Quite big, had to remove an hdd and adjust cables to accommodate.
Overall Review: Seems to be a common thing with this tier of card, but 1 HDMI. 1 DVI, 3 Display ports feels like an awkward setup. Originally gave 4/5 due to a strange restart issue after installing, but the problem seems to have been bad ram. Updated to 5 stars, quite happy with this product.
-Good airflow for small gpu's.
Cons: -Zero intended cable management with very little possible.
Pros: -Pretty reliable. Have used for a little over a year now.
-Good RMA program.
Cons: -Not a full ATX board. The board is too narrow and does not contain sockets for the rightmost 3 ATX mounts. As a result of the dangling edge, placing the 16/20 pin power cord feels like this thing is going to shatter.
-Similarly, the SATA ports are all on that dangling side. If your SATA cables do not have the clamps to release their locks, then you might get just as antsy placing / removing those as the 16/20 pin.
Pros: -Tool-less drive bays are great
-No wiring on front panel, so it can pop off and on without much hassle
-Good pop-out filters for the front and top fans
Cons: -Cable management is -ok-
-Case wires are pretty short, ended up having a few that had to run directly across the mb.
-Bottom fan filter is a clever idea but doesn't quite work with my fans. There are hooked plastic corners that pop in/out of the area beneath the fan, but they come through just enough to tap the fan blades? Haven't been able to use a bottom fan.
Overall Review: All in all pretty nice case for the price. Their tool-less stuff is pretty clever.
