Dead after 2 months - nice while it lasted1/22/2016 6:31:39 AM

Pros: UEFI Bios<br>Excellent Overclocking all around.<br>Great specifications.

Cons: It arrived with a broken PCI Express 3.0 x16 clip.<br>Dead USB port on the back.<br>Feels fairly flimsy It's sorta-kinda DEAD AFTER 2 MONTHS OF REGULAR USE

Overall Review: This board is easily the best available for LGA1155 unless you want to pay close to $300, and honestly, I think it's better than the next best boards as far as specifications go.<br><br>Though the clip was broken {cons} it works fine with the GPU secured to the back of the case, so that's not a terribly big problem. Like the clip, I'm not terribly worried about the dead USB port on the back {it was a 2.0 for me} as the board has quite a number of ports besides that one. UPDATE: The above cons held true up until up until the board died during a routine cable clean-up. Completely unplugged the computer, made sure all my cables were sorted, plugged it back in...deader than a door-nail with no readily visible problems. RMA'd to Newegg, beyond their ability to do anything with. Don't know if I'll buy ASRock again. I was already wary as it's a brand I've never used and a lot of reviews seem to start their boards as hit and miss...guess we'll see, but for now think I'm going to get something I know I can trust.

Manufacturer Response:
Dear Kristopher, Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you. For the USB ports, please turn the power off, clear the CMOS. Test these USB ports in the UEFI BIOS with keyboard and mouse to verify USB hardware is working. If they are working in the BIOS that indicates hardware part is working. Please contact us at http://www.ASRock.com/Support/tsd.asp We will assist you shortly. Thank you ASRock SUPPORT Tech Support Email: http://www.ASRock.com/Support/tsd.asp

Pros: Cheap, solid board when new, not bad when refurbed.

Cons: The board arrived with literally nothing but the board and a manual as well as a disc. No cables or anything, though I expected this as I was buying refurbed.

Overall Review: Not much to say - for what I paid, I have no complaints. It installed easy enough, the manual/disc was included and I simply used the cables I already had plugged into my previous board.
