Most Favorable Review

Pretty solid, except the anti-glare

AOC 24" (23.8" Viewable) 24G2E5 1920 x 1080 FHD 75Hz IPS 1ms (MPRT) AMD FreeSync VGA DisplayPort HDMI VESA Tilt Gaming Monitor
AOC 24" (23.8" Viewable) 24G2E5 1920 x 1080 FHD 75Hz IPS 1ms (MPRT) AMD FreeSync VGA DisplayPort HDMI VESA Tilt Gaming Monitor

Pros: These monitors look great at night, and are crisp and sharp with color and motion.

Cons: anti-glare coating isn't the best. it's not bad, but if you have a window behind me you'll remember how much you hate the sun, and how much better these look when the sun's on the other side of the house and/or planet.

Overall Review: yes I would recommend/purchase again, unless you have a window situation. For the price, they're great, and they're good enough for me to use 8-16 hours a day

usable.. somewhat

LSI Internal SATA/SAS SAS3081E-R 3Gb/s PCI-Express 1.1 RAID Controller Card, Single
LSI Internal SATA/SAS SAS3081E-R 3Gb/s PCI-Express 1.1 RAID Controller Card, Single

Pros: High performance - unless you're using a hundred or so drives with expanders, your drives will be the bottleneck. 400mb/sec is typical for me Supports bootable raid in hardware for any OS. Supports linux out of the box via mptsas module in mainstream kernels. Passes drives directly to OS if no raid is configured*(see problems). Supports hot-plug Needs no battery under linux, you can flash the card's bios/firmware from within the OS.. WITHOUT rebooting when you're done!!

Cons: two MAJOR drawbacks prevent this card from reaching it's potential. First, under linux 2.6.26 (debian stable) IO errors occured if the drives were not part of a raid.. I.E. if you just throw some drives at this and use software raid, it goes bad. If you create a bootable raid, the drives work fine.. Note as advertized the controller supports striping/mirroring only.. no parity raids like raid 5 or 6. Raid 1E works great. Second drawback - you are limited to two logical drives, and if you use raid 1E, a total of ten disks per logical drive. this device supports expanders, and 144 devices..144-20=124 unusable drives! Also.. on my motherboard i was unable to enter this card's bios unless I configured the motherboard to boot a drive on this card first. When you hit ctrl-C at the bios's pre-load, it does not load bios then, but triggers it to boot bios on the boot phase, which it may not get to if another device takes priority. this seems minor, but irritating

Overall Review: Interwebs implies that kernels prior to 2.6.13 would not have errors, so maybe it's a driver issue. maybe it will get fixed. Maybe this doesn't exist in solaris or windows, but i have linux. Overall this product is usable. It may give you headaches you do not expect. Don't plan on accessing the disks directly, and know the raid limitations (2 logical drives, max 10 physical disks per logical disk), which means it's pointless to use w/ expanders.

I love this case...

Fractal Design Define R5 Black Silent ATX Midtower Computer Case
Fractal Design Define R5 Black Silent ATX Midtower Computer Case

Pros: 1 - This case fits everything I need... 2x 2.5's, 2x3.5, an oversized powersupply, and a motherboard with top-mounted power supply connectors 2 - It's cold. like speeping outside under the stars I moved put 2x140's in the front, and another intake 140 on the bottom. Rear has a 140 exhaust, and the top's closed off. Rear exhaust is blowing cold air hard, and the system's cool. 3 - it's quiet. I can't hear it over my gaming rig or old server. 4 - I was able to build a positive pressure case with air filters... kinda... there's a weird eddy under the rear exhaust fan 5 - looks good. it's a classic, so it's nothing fancy, but not an eyesore like the 10-yr old case it replaced

Cons: - rubber grommets on the cable management pass throughs fall out for like no reason at all - I don't really like the white accents on the drive trays, expansion port covers and fan blades. There's not enough accent to be cool, so I think it should just be a blackout case.

Overall Review: I am considering buying another to refit my older server into. I didn't take advantage, but this case would probably be a watercooler's dream I didn't take advantage, but this case could hold more storage, or fat video cards, but not really both. I love this case and want to make babies(VMs) with it and watch them grow up to serve important roles.

doesn't fit

Gamemax M60 Black Steel Micro ATX Tower USB3.0 Computer Case w/ Dual Mesh Side Panels
Gamemax M60 Black Steel Micro ATX Tower USB3.0 Computer Case w/ Dual Mesh Side Panels

Pros: it's cute

Cons: front panel is solid. it's a box. the sides are mesh, but zero air flow in the front. the power supply "fits" but not with any of the modular cables connected. Either the power supply or case has to go.

Overall Review: it's cute, but not functional. doesn't allow me to put a power supply, mother board, and a few drives in a system. will be returned.

poorly engineered, well built, beautiful

Rosewill CULLINAN MX-RED ATX Mid Tower Gaming PC Computer Case with Red LED Fans, Tempered Glass/Steel, Optimal Airflow, USB 3.0
Rosewill CULLINAN MX-RED ATX Mid Tower Gaming PC Computer Case with Red LED Fans, Tempered Glass/Steel, Optimal Airflow, USB 3.0

Pros: It looks great! It's well built. Unless the glass gets smashed, the metal and plastic portions of the case should survive the apocolypse.

Cons: I am unable to mount two 3.5" drives with the stock parts................. front 3.5" drive bay doesn't have clearance for power connectors 3.5 drive mounting 'plates' above the power supply are usable, but partially block their own cable access way. I only had enough screws to mount one 3.5" drive because I used a micro ATX board and had left-over motherbaord screws... lame Bonus, standard 6/32's are two tall. Side 3x 2.5" drive plates have countersunk screw holes drilled in them. there are no countersunk screws in the kit. All the drive mounting options are weird.... every single one of them. MB Power cable routing is awkward, due to the shelf Vertical GPU bracket is a liability if they don't include the riser. Even th en, I don't think it's a good feature.

Overall Review: - would NOT recommend. The minor issues combine to make this too difficult to work in. Attention to detail was lacking and caused a very bad product to go out the door

work fine, except what I bought them for

4 Port USB3.0 HUB, ORICO 5Gbps 4 Ports USB Splitter OTG Adapter With Power Supply Interface (30CM) for MacBook Laptop PC Tablet Computer
4 Port USB3.0 HUB, ORICO 5Gbps 4 Ports USB Splitter OTG Adapter With Power Supply Interface (30CM) for MacBook Laptop PC Tablet Computer

Pros: cheap.

Cons: not reliable

Overall Review: I bought two of these, one for a PC that has two functional usb ports, both of which are USB 3.0. This does not work at all on Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 running Debian stable, can't use it to connect a keyboard. Bummer. Same device works fine connecting my mouse to my laptop. might be the PC, might be the hub. 2nd device was attached to a raspberry pi 4, with the intention of then connecting 4 usb 3.0 drives to it. Drives are recognized and work for a while, but occasionally drops out one of the drives. Would work fine for a keyboard or mouse, but for a drive, a single hickup and the system needs to reboot. kinda sucks. I got an anker for the pi project - works perfectly. I'm using an old usb 2.0 hub for the 2-port machine, it's fine for keyboard/mouse.

it's Ram!

1. I bought some RAM 2. RAM showed up 3. RAM worked 4. Neighbor's RAM pickup can haul more than my new RAM. I estimate it could haul 100,000 pieces of RAM.

This is not a new motherboard

I purchased an older motherboard from these guys to use in a special project. Motherboard arrived in bubble wrap, with the IO shield and no box, manual or cables. It's fine. I have a box of 100 SATA cables, downloaded the manual, and have the IO shield. The board works, but it is NOT A new factory sealed product AND was sold as one. Whatever... the board did go EOL in 2015, so I would have been fine with a used one, but I don't like the deception.

faster than newegg shipping

The item arrived in ~24 hours, as described and appears to be new in box, sealed from Intel. The rest of the Newegg order has not arrived, even though I'm in SoCal
