Smooth build - everything works!

Pros: Has all the things I needed. Great design. Sound is great - no hiss or distortion. RAID 0 easy to set up. Lot's of extras. And most importantly, it fired up first time no problem and every plug works. Blu-rays can play in the background and it doesn't even slow down the system. Asus manual is pretty good, too. This is my first build and it was very easy to do. Between the Lian Li case and this higher-end motherboard, my build went very smooth.
Cons: None, really.
Overall Review: I put my Vista and programs on a RAID 0 with two Velociraptors (10,000 rpm). It is incredibly fast. It opens Photoshop and all my brushes and plugins IN TWO SECONDS! then it only takes 1 second to re-open after the first time. Crysis plays at 38fps with everything turned up and at 1920x1200. I was a bit concerned with all the DOA reviews and poor customer service reports, which is why I made sure to post this postive review - I couldn't be happier with my Asus board. My setup: I7 950 (at standard 3.03GHz), 12GB G.Skill (1600) ram, Two Velocipraptors in RAID0, one Seagate 1TB storage, HD 4890 video card. Lian Li PC-60 case. Samsung 245T 24" monitor.
It leaks!

Pros: Makes coffee fast! Looks good, too. I have to give it one egg because it completely let me down....
Cons: After 3 years, ours leaks about 1/4 cup of water onto the countertop from under the coffee maker when making a pot. It's a real bummer. Maybe I shouldn't expect a $100 water heater to last forever without leaking, but I bet those $300 Bunns don't leak after 3 years. I'll probably replace it with another BUNN, but not this particular model - even though it looks nicer and more modern than all the rest. I would have rather paid twice the amount and have it last about 8-10 years.
Overall Review: I bought a case of the special BUNN filters via the internet - that is the way to go. The case lasts a long time.
5 eggs because it started up with no errors.

Pros: Comes with all kinds of extras like a nice screwdriver, the $100 ROG audio dongle. Extra m.2 heat sink, fan controller, etc. I like the colored led back lights on the audio plugs in the back. It has a button release for the video card, which is great. No serial ports in the back wasting space. The audio does sound fantastic. No audio card needed for me.
Cons: Downside might be the PCIe video card is a 4.0, x16. But it shares with the fastest 5.0 M.2 slot. Only 2 USB 3.0 plugs and I needed 3. Only 2 USB 2.0 plugs. I could have used 3. I get a slight ticking from my speakers when there's nothing engaging the sound. I'll figure out how to remedy that when ii can. I might just have spodify open when I start up.
Overall Review: Overall, very happy with this board. Expressive, but it should have all you need. Best part was it started right up with no errors.
Outstanding customer service

Pros: Best charger I've used. I charge a huge amount of batteries for my camera flashes. Great customer service. 5-egg charger!
Cons: Mine fired (with a little puff of smoke!) after 2 years. Had to take one egg off for it failing, but....
Overall Review: After two years of HEAVY use (60-100 AA battery charges per week) mine gave out. I called the toll-free MAHA customer service number on the warrenty card, and they sent out a new unit the same day, with a return label for the bad one. Gotta love that! No RMAs or send it in first, then they send out a new one. I'm back in business now.
Works - better than the ribbon cable

Pros: Slim profile - helps with airflow and case congestion. Works.
Cons: Looks pretty fragile where the cable connects to the connectors. Be careful installing it.
Overall Review: Best price and works. What more do you want in a cable?
Rebate - got it in 6 weeks

Pros: I posted another review below in late August. I have two of these in RAID 0 and they are both running great at 7 weeks. Very, very impressed with the speed. Anyway, I see how some people have had trouble with the rebate, but I got mine in 6 weeks. $40 total for two. You need to write in the serial numbers, and I kicked myself for not writing them down before installing the drives (no box with these). My IT guy at work said check out the BIOS for the numbers, and sure enough, there they were.
Cons: None.
Overall Review: 1/2 the price of getting two of these in RAID 0 than one 300GB solid state drive. Plus, the speed is about the same or better, according to published tests. Until the price of solid state drives comes down, these little drives in RAID 0 are the only way to go for me.
