AMD Ryzen 7 2nd Gen - Ryzen 7 2700X Pinnacle Ridge (Zen+) 8-Core 3.7 GHz (4.3 GHz Max Boost) Socket AM4 105W YD270XBGAFBOX Desktop Processor

Pros: -8 cores -easy 4ghz 24/7 -smashes everything I throw at it. -Stock Cooler looks cool

Cons: -wasn't free

Overall Review: Happy with this CPU even if other CPUs have higher single thread performance or extreme frequencies. My first AMD CPU. Probably not buying Intel again. 2700x/Asus x470 Prime Pro/F4-3200C16D-16GVKB

works well with the bundle

CORSAIR Vengeance RGB 32GB (2 x 16GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR5 6400 (PC5 51200) Desktop Memory Model CMH32GX5M2N6400C36W
CORSAIR Vengeance RGB 32GB (2 x 16GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR5 6400 (PC5 51200) Desktop Memory Model CMH32GX5M2N6400C36W

Pros: Works with 7800x3d and b650e combo deal - despite what some reviews say about incompatibility this board and ram work just fine paired with the 7800x3d. easily tightens up from the XMP timings.

Cons: Memory training takes a while Cant find a debug led (if it was needed) Memory training should have its own debug led

Overall Review: Good enough and works. not alot of info about these but they are Micro -D and behave as such.

Says Intel works for AMD X470

G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600) Desktop Memory Model F4-3200C16D-16GVKB
G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600) Desktop Memory Model F4-3200C16D-16GVKB

Pros: -Lifetime warranty -runs at listed speeds and CL -Good price for 3200mhz -no RGB

Cons: -no RGB

Overall Review: Install one stick and boot the system, set to proper speed profile in BIOS. Install second stick. Profit. 2700x/Asus X470 Prime Pro/F4-3200C16D-16GVKB. Update* After a week of stability I've found these sticks need 1.38v to be stable at 3200mhz as was mentioned by a previous review.

Best screen for the money

SCEPTRE C275B-144R Black 27" HDMI Widescreen 1920 x 1080 FHD 144Hz 1800R Curved Monitor 250 cd/m2 20000:1, US Warranty
SCEPTRE C275B-144R Black 27" HDMI Widescreen 1920 x 1080 FHD 144Hz 1800R Curved Monitor 250 cd/m2 20000:1, US Warranty

Pros: -Price -refreshrate (mine clocks to 165hz) -nice stand -decent contruction -DP cable included

Cons: One stuck (black) pixel in the bottom left corner. I took an egg off for that because of its location but I cant be bothered to return the screen because of that. I say bottom left because the location of the pixel is about 50 pixels in and 4 rows up.

Overall Review: If youre picky about pixels then check the screen when it arrives and do the RAM dance if you need to.

Exactly what I expect from my 3rd ASUS board

ASUS Prime X470-Pro AM4 AMD X470 ATX AMD Motherboard
ASUS Prime X470-Pro AM4 AMD X470 ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: -layout is almost identical to my previous ASUS board so swapping the system took about 10mins. -looks nice. -solid construction

Cons: -none

Overall Review: The protective plastic on the IO shroud and heatsyncs could use little tabs to facilitate removal.
