Chip is great
Pros: Chip is great, Overkill for my application.
Cons: Stock Intel coolers are trash. They never seat properly with the push pin design. Stock cooler runs at 49-60c Idle and its firmly placed on my Cpu. But is it? Its fairly evident when i remove the stock cooler that the thermal paste presses over to one side. Why does Intel make a high tech CPU and pair it with a Stone Age Cooler from the Flintstones ?
Overall Review: 5 stars regardless
This hen only gives 4 Eggs
Pros: Overall Great EVGA PSU. Powers 3 x RTX 3080's. Its nicer than my G+ Supernova, It's heavier and runs much cooler + it's more Efficient. I have no complaints other than.....
Cons: All of the PCIE cables are 8 x 8 + 6 pin. Whoa, no 8 x 2 (8) pin cables anymore. The RTX 2070's are all gone from my pc's. What in the world am i going to do with 8 x 8 + 6 pin PCIE Cables ? I had to spend an additional 50 Bucks on Amazonia for 16awg PCIE dual 8 Cables. Major Disappointment. Therefor my hen took away an Egg but she really needed to take 2 Eggs for that Bummer.
Overall Review: All in all I would buy it again if it's on sale. Factor in spending another 50 Bucks
Subpar Cooling Solution
Pros: It works
Cons: Runs Hot, I have a Challenger 5700 xt so i know how bad the heatsinks are on them but the new 6700 xt is worse. Its a regular steel plate affixed to the copper heat pipes. Folding at home with the gpu underclocked i'm at 70 C. The vram temps have to be at least 100 C but this info is now hidden. XFX made this same mistake and went back and RMA'D Countless 5700's and put in a full copper heatsink.....Asrock You stink trying to save money with cheap steel plate. This new gpu is Cheap, just like the Challenger before it & The thermal pads are Trash. I don't like it at all. I took mine apart & ordered 1.25mm thermal pads, but it won't help much bcause the heatsink is junk. Mine came installed with 1.5mm pads and the gpu bolts were all loose, There was a huge gap between my die & the Cooler. This is so Cheap to do it right but Asrock you choose to do it wrong !
Overall Review: If i could go back in time i would choose a different 6700 xt like the Asus or XFX
Easy to juice
Pros: Works great. Always keeps a connection as long as your wifi box sends a signal. Never disconnects. I'm not that far from my Router, it's downstairs and the signal is strong enough to reach upstairs. I get full signal or none, none of that half way in between stuff that can drive you nuts.
Overall Review: Would buy again, maybe 1 for my garage soon.
