Can be made to work

EnLabs USB10GCMF1M USB Type C Extension Cable - USB-C USB 3.1 Gen 2(10Gbps) Male to Female Extending Port Saver Adapter Cable Cord - 3.3FT- Black
EnLabs USB10GCMF1M USB Type C Extension Cable - USB-C USB 3.1 Gen 2(10Gbps) Male to Female Extending Port Saver Adapter Cable Cord - 3.3FT- Black

Pros: Bought product for same reason as other reviewers. Hub wire too short to use practically with position of C 3.1 port. Hard item to find product elsewhere. Looks OK. And mine does pretty much work with effort.

Cons: At first got I/O errors when using cable and USB 3.0 flash drive on W10. Had to repeatedly scan drive to correct errors. Even though this type of cable is supposed to be able to be plugged in with either side up. I have heard of confusion with USB C cables. So I decided to switch the female end of cable around and the I/O errors stopped!! BTW my hub does not care which way it is plugged in port.

Overall Review: I used a StarTech.com 4 Port USB-C 3.1 Hub directly into my PC's C 3.1 port and copied 4.5 Gb of data to a SSD. Then did the same thing with this Extension Cable between Hub and PC. Transfer rate dropped by about 33%. But it is still faster than my 3.0 ports. So I can use it. But will call Labs Marketplace and see what they says.
