Overall Review: It is a good streamer device, but with the new wave of TV's coming out the only thing this has that the TV doesn't ... THE FREE channels. I bought 2, and we were very happy with them, but last week we bought a new 85" and haven't touched the ROKU remote. There is no need, the TV has it all (except the free channels which we will go back to off and on.
Pros: Price is about right for what you get. Easy to install. good for tall people
Cons: It is limited in how you can set it up. I have a neck strain from the angle being too high and I can't lower it. someone taller of in a high chair or recliner might do better.
Overall Review: It is what it is. You can find better or worse. Look around before you buy. I didn't look enough, just saw it was priced right and on sale. This will do until I upgrade my system, then this one is gone.
Pros: IT is an easy plug and play, even on my linux machine. It works so will I have two of them. I have a lot of USB drives and can have almost all plugged in then just push the power button for the one I need to use and it's there, ready to go.
Cons: This is really not a con, but the 4 port one is easier to sue some times because the buttons are lager and just push on/off, not toggle. Also, the USB cable could be 12" longer so you can place them in different areas without having to use an extension USB cable.
Overall Review: Should you buy? No, buy two or three or more if you are like me and have a lot of USB drives.
Pros: Works nice, cools as stated. Nice to have the added USB ports.
Cons: Bought it to take to sea for the cooling and extra USB. While gone to sea it broke on the inside after only getting to use it a few times and by the time I got home it was beyond the 30 day return period.
Pros: Easy install and setup, just PnP. Sound is great, clean, clear with good high, low and mid range. You can really feel the sound coming at you. Okay, so part of that is the speakers, but without the card, the speakers don't have anything to give.
Pros: I put this on an Asus MOBO with a AMD6400+ CPU. The running temps with an after market air cooler were 40-45c, 65-70c loaded. I had hope this unit would bring it down and it did. Now it runs 21c, even with a full load. That's also 6c below ambient temp.
Cons: It's a bit tough fitting into the case, but then I have it in an HPTC.
Overall Review: I did have to add an extra case fan to a slot to help with the GPU cooling, I had removed it to check noise and overall cooling. That is the only noise I hear.
