Onboard chipset fan too tall

ASUS AM4 TUF Gaming X570-Plus (Wi-Fi) ATX Motherboard with PCIe 4.0, Dual M.2, 12+2 with Dr. MOS Power Stage, HDMI, DP, SATA 6Gb/s, USB 3.2 Gen 2 and Aura Sync RGB Lighting
ASUS AM4 TUF Gaming X570-Plus (Wi-Fi) ATX Motherboard with PCIe 4.0, Dual M.2, 12+2 with Dr. MOS Power Stage, HDMI, DP, SATA 6Gb/s, USB 3.2 Gen 2 and Aura Sync RGB Lighting

Pros: The motherboard looked cool. I didn't power it on though, but I assume it works as intended.

Cons: The biggest con for me is that the onboard chipset fan on mine was too tall. I have a gigabyte 1070 gpu, and it would not fit in the primary PCI slot. The chipset fan wouldn't allow it. I tried the secondary PCI 4.0 slot just to see, and it barely fit in there. However, the GPU board was still touching the chipset fan housing. Thankfully I still have my mATX motherboard from before (I was switching motherboards) so I still have a working pc.

Overall Review: The board looks cool and the specs are nice, but it was a big disappoint for me in the end. Primarily because of the chipset fan housing being too tall. I can't fault the board too much for that so I'm giving it 3/5 eggs. I'm sure if I had a little clearance I would be fine with it, but its not worth the hassle for me at this time.

Good product, but coil whine

MSI Gaming GeForce RTX 3070 Ti 8GB GDDR6X PCI Express 4.0 Video Card RTX 3070 Ti Gaming X Trio 8G
MSI Gaming GeForce RTX 3070 Ti 8GB GDDR6X PCI Express 4.0 Video Card RTX 3070 Ti Gaming X Trio 8G

Pros: -This was a huge upgrade for me from a 1070 that was slowly going bad so it is worth the purchase for me. -Able to play games with RTX on now -Major increase in FPS (I'm running dual monitors often with a game on primary and watching a video/livestream on secondary)

Cons: -Coil whine on startup is loud. I've checked to make sure no cables are hitting the blades, and that the anti-sag bracket isn't interfering. I'm really not sure what's causing it to happen unless the card itself is just susceptible to it. It does go up a bit during games; however, I'm a headphone user so I can't hear it.

Overall Review: -I recommend the product (if you get it close to MSRP). Mine just has coil whine which is annoying. I would've returned it or tried exchanging for another card, but that's hard to do with today's GPU availability (although I still might if I get a chance to buy a 3080/3080 Ti).

I've needed a tool kit like this for ages

StarTech 19 Piece Computer Tool Kit in a Carrying Case - Retail
StarTech 19 Piece Computer Tool Kit in a Carrying Case - Retail

Pros: -Has all the tools I've needed -The screwdriver tips are actually magnetic which is something other tool kits that I've bought have not had even if stated

Overall Review: I'd recommend this computer tool kit to anyone who wants to build computers. It has every tool an at home builder needs!

CPU Works, but get an Aftermarket Cooler

Intel Xeon E3-1231V3 Haswell 3.4 GHz 4 x 256KB L2 Cache 8MB L3 Cache LGA 1150 80W BX80646E31231V3 Server Processor
Intel Xeon E3-1231V3 Haswell 3.4 GHz 4 x 256KB L2 Cache 8MB L3 Cache LGA 1150 80W BX80646E31231V3 Server Processor

Pros: The CPU works so its all good.

Cons: The stock fan is horrible. Mine is so loud compared to my old AMD Phenom stock cooler. I suggest buying an aftermarket cooler like I just did for this.

Overall Review: Why is the fan so loud!

Good first SSD

ADATA Premier Pro SP920 2.5" 256GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) ASP920SS3-256GM-C
ADATA Premier Pro SP920 2.5" 256GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) ASP920SS3-256GM-C

Pros: Works straight out of the box. Installed Windows 8.1 pro easily on it.

Cons: Nothing yet.

Overall Review: This is my first SSD and because of the good experiences I have had with it so far I'm definitely going to buy more in the future.
