Would love these but over priced
Pros: don't have yet but the fact that you can plug them in for power and also hook up non bluetooth items is great.
Cons: overpriced 25-50% which is shocking as usually everything is cheaper here. Was researching and fount that bust buy currently has these on sale for $54.98 norm 69.99 which is shocking as I always have found them to be higher and sometimes over priced.
Pros: Very Bright and the adjustable brightness is noce
Cons: Poor Design I had not used this except maybe only 6 times for like 5 mins just testing with my hand held digital camcorder and a moon grip and had it break. I'm from NY and was in Newport WA and I had showed someone it at a wedding hours before it started 8/18/2013 and it worked and I put it my camera case in its spot I made in a hard case with customizable foam. I went to use it during the wedding reception because I needed it for to take a couple pictures and some video. When I went to turn it on the on/off dimmer knob was loose and kept turning and if I shook the light you could hear something small moving around. I tried to take the light apart to see if I could fix it but all I had was a leatherman multi tool. Because the screwdriver on the leatherman was not the right one size and shape I was only able to get one screw out and gave up so I could enjoy the rest of the reception. When I got back to my hotel I finished working in it and got it apart. What Happened is there is a very small screw about the diameter and length maybe a little more of a screw that is used for eye glasses that holds the plastic dial on the small On/off/Dimmer control post that's flat on two sides and rounded on the others. The screw cant get a good hold because the way the dial is designed to thick in the center, the screw is a little to short and the post is also two short and there was only a little glue on the screw to keep the screw form turning . so the because of this the screw came loose from spinning the dial. In the end I fixed it but it was a pain because I did not have the right screw driver. So all in all I would not recommend this light unless you want to have to fix it after a couple uses.
Overall Review: Will try to upload a video review when I get home in a week when I have a better screwdriver to take it back apart to make sure the screw is tight
Pros: Nice I actualy bought this used at a garage sale as I did have a used laptop till I think the laptops power supply went. And was only able to find one for about $40 new on e bay and was not about to blow that much to find out it was something else that was wrong.
Cons: The picture they have of it out of the package is totaly a diffrent model. but the picture of the one in the box is the right model. also be advised the 2 usb ports work great only for items that use very little power like a usb flash drive or a mouse. I tried to plug a USB Skype phone that is only powered by USB and got a warning that there is not enough power to power the device. Although devices that are powered by another power source like a printer should work.
Overall Review: use it on occasion for my desktop till i getanother laptop and it work great when I do use it. Unlike the other users experience that says it need to be unpluged once in a while and plugged back in I find that I dont have to. I have had it pluged in to my computer and have had my computer on for a week straight and have had no trouble at all. I think Targus is a great brand especialy for laptop accesories and is right up there with Microsoft and Logitech for computer accesories and will buy other tagus products when I obtain another laptop.
A must get
Comments: I bought this with a external enclouser http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16817155705 b/c dell said my pc would not support HDs larger than 120gig it works great I am just thinking I may buy a diffrent case or modify the case with a fan or more holes b/c HD seems to run a little warm if it has been spinning for a while and I am nervous that it may do damage to the hd
