Intel Core i7 6th Gen - Core i7-6850K Broadwell-E 6-Core 3.6 GHz LGA 2011-V3 140W BX80671I76850K Desktop Processor

Pros: -FAST...has no issues with any games I throw at it (in 4K max settings). -Easy over clock. I'm running at 4.5 GHz on an air cooler, rarely touching 55 C.

Cons: None. It works.

Just need one more;)

BFG Tech GeForce GTX 285 1GB GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Graphics Card BFGEGTX2851024OCFUBE
BFG Tech GeForce GTX 285 1GB GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Graphics Card BFGEGTX2851024OCFUBE

Pros: Everything. I switched from a HD4890, and I couldn't be happier. I play my games in 1920x1200, 4x - 8x AA, and the lowest frame-rates I ever encounter are during Crysis, at 40fps...oh the suffering;)

Cons: The fan is set at 40% by default, which is way too conservative for my setup. I downloaded EVGA precision tool and set it at 80% instead. I did have freezes and artifacting at 40%, but it's all gone now at 80%. Runs like a champ, and begs for more.

Overall Review: Get this card. Up next, an X58 motherboard, and two more cards (triple SLI baby!!!), and I'll be a happy camper.

Meh....

XFX HD-489A-ZDDC Radeon HD 4890 XXX Edition 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card
XFX HD-489A-ZDDC Radeon HD 4890 XXX Edition 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card

Pros: It's a pretty quick card. I went from avg 23 fps in crysis to 30fps with 8xAA on at 1920x1200 (used Fraps). Plays all of my games minimum 45fps at 1920x1200 (except Arkham Asylum and Crysis.) Great performance for the price. Some people complain about the fan, and you do hear it, but I've got six case fans already, so what's one more;)

Cons: None really...see other thoughts.

Overall Review: I don't want to bag on this card, as it does what it says. My issue with it is my own fault for not reading the fine print. I had a BFG 8800GTX 768 mb before this, and got spoiled by the Physx support, and the way that card would maintain framerates up to 8xAA on any game. This card feels kind of like a rice rocket: gobs of horsepower, but zero torque (can't pull a load), whereas the 8800GTX felt like a big V8, gobs of horsepower and torque...not the highest top-end, but can maintain it's top-end speed even with a load...hope that makes sense;) All in all, if you're not attached to Physx support, get this card, especially if you're gaming in 1680x1050 or lower...you'll be very happy. If you're spoiled by Nvidia Physx (Arkham Asylum) or play 1920x1200 and up, GTX 285 minimum (I've already ordered one from Newegg.)
