Not fast enough for HD DSLR video

ADATA 32GB Class 10 Secure Digital High-Capacity (SDHC) Flash Card Model ASDH32GCL10-R
ADATA 32GB Class 10 Secure Digital High-Capacity (SDHC) Flash Card Model ASDH32GCL10-R

Pros: Well at one time I would have said its a cheap card considering how large it is but now Transcend has a 32gb class for the same price so please if your reading this get that card instead. So with that said no I personally do not have anything good to say about this card at all unless your intent is to give this to someone you don't particularly care for.

Cons: Were to begin. I purchased this card for my Canon T2i. Although it claims to be a class 10 card it cannot perform fast enough for the camera to write HD video to it (Even at 720p). When I called Adata's customer service they said for me to perform speed test which did show it was performing up to its claimed speed, however, in real world tests i.e. shooting HD video it consistently under performs. Adata is fully aware of this issue but have yet to try and rectify the issue by pulling the card from market, changing the class rating, or at least advertising the card with some sort of disclaimer. Also Adata don't waste you time replying to my message telling me to use a low level formatting tool its ludicrous that you would expect me to format my card each and every time I want to use it in order to boost its performance.

Overall Review: The first one that I ordered was lost in the mail. I called Newegg and they had a new one shipped out next day air. I guess this has nothing to do with the quality the card but rather the amazing quality of Newegg's customer service.

Fast but unreliable

OCZ Vertex 2 2.5" 90GB SATA II MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) OCZSSD2-2VTXE90G
OCZ Vertex 2 2.5" 90GB SATA II MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) OCZSSD2-2VTXE90G

Pros: Coming from a 7200rpm HDD, I was completely blown away by the speed of these Vertex 2 drives. After experiencing one for yourself you will find it extremely difficult to go back to a regular platter based HDD. This drive may not have the largest capacity; however, for me it was the sweet spot. After loading windows 7, the entire CS5.5 Master Collection, Portal 2, and Crysis 2 I had around 20 gigs left to play with.

Cons: I have purchased three of these drives for client builds. Two of them have failed after less than two months of use the other is still going strong after a month and a half in. From my own experience I would say these drives are not too terribly reliable. It is a shame that I had to learn myself the hard way rather than just relying on the reviews found here on Newegg. These drives have an unacceptably high failure rate you would think OCZ would have acknowledged this a long time ago. To make things worse you are responsible for paying return shipping when RMAing these faulty drives back to them (there goes my rebate gift card). With such a high failure rate you would think they would own up to their shortcomings and pick up the return shipping tab its bad enough I have to be without my boot drive for a few weeks.

Overall Review: I swapped out my stock PS3 HDD awhile back for a much larger 500gb drive. While I wait for my new drive from OCZ I am stuck using the 60GB 5400rpm drive I pulled out of my PS3 as my PC's boot drive. It's soooooooo slow.
