Pros: Cooling= lowered my temps. I think with some proper cable management and a re-seat of my CPU it will drop more. Size=Good in my opinion compared to some of the other bulky items I saw in Fry's. Fans= quiet! I havent tested them on high or med yet. Only low and they keep it cool.
Cons: I didnt understand the hard drive cages at first. Here is the easy version: Unscrew the "thumb screws" on both sides of the bays (remove both outer covers) . Push the whole bay frames out through the front of the case. Then mount your drives with the long screws in the hardware box. Put them back in. That may be common for some of you techies, but my other cases didnt have "removable HDD cages".
I like it!
Pros: Bottom line it keeps my PC cooler under load. My other thermal take cooler wouldnt keep up to the task. When encoding video or opening multiple programs it would get to hot in my opinion (CPU). I picked up this one based off a review and the fan speeds up under load, but runs slow when at idle. Keeps my PC at a consistent range. I am running a AMD quad core CPU.
Cons: one of the small plastic pins that mount the fan to the heat sink were broke off. There is 4 of them total so I didnt feel that I should send it back and deal with the wait and shipping over this.
Overall Review: Some people say its big. I have a standard case. It fit perfect. Just take off the fan before install. It detaches with minimal effort. Youtube it if you want to see...easy..
I like it..but it could pull more air
Pros: Red, but not to bright. So if you are looking for a bright red fan it doesnt do that. It has a dim red color. If you want your case to glow, I would say you need 2 of them at least.
Cons: It doesnt pull a whole lot of air compared to the cheap masscool black fan I bought.
