Pros: writes fast in 2.0 mode with older equipment relative to others brands I've used.
Cons: Dissconnects spontaneously with multiple devices across multiple ports
Overall Review: Too bad to find it's bad after I written 59 GB on it!
Pros: none, I'm not even going to try to test it
Cons: The cap is very difficult to remove. I have to squeeze the plastic casing in order to get a strong enough grip to remove the cap. It feels as though the plastic is about to crack.
Overall Review: Awful
Pros: One out of the 2 cartridges tasted pretty good...
Cons: But the other one was stale - like it was depleted....seller failed acknowledge this complaint through Newegg. It's been quite while that's why I'm leaving the negative feedback now.
Pros: A Solid Upgrade !
Overall Review: Faster, lighter, thinner is all that needs to be noted here
Pros: They stay comfortable
The base is prominent.
The controls are excellent.
Overall Review: Excellent for bluetooth....really!
Pros: This was my first e-cigarette. I've since tried others but this is the best one so far (to my taste)
Cons: wish it was re-chargeable.
Pros: This card is just what I needed for games like gta4 and sleeping dogs, previous card was GTX 768 mb on a 1920x1080, the 2 gb of VRAM really bringing out the shine in these games.
Arrived in perfect condition!
Cons: None so far.
Overall Review: I like the 3 yr warranty
Pros: The bluetooth connection fairly solid, although some random drop outs. Sound quality is okay for a wireless connection. The controls are solid.
Cons: 1)The charge light never turnes green, so I don't know if the battery is 100% or not. The $10.44 return fee is too high, imo, so I'll keep this unit and hope it's just the liight which is defective
2) Sources with relatively high dymamic range, such as iTunes, don't play loud enough, probably to conserve battery life.
3) Somewhat flimsey ear pads that I've read don't last with sweaty exercise.
Overall Review: Ohters have also mentioned the charge light problem so my return could do the same thing...so it could be another $10.44 down the drain.
If one unit has a defect, it's likely other do as well.
Pros: Moderators on Hard Forum say Asus is top quality hardware. Performance has been perfect. This card runs cool and very quiet.
Cons: No Rebate
I couldn't find a link for a printable mail in rebate form, and Asus's email confirmations to my inbox contained invalid links.
Overall Review: This is the first time I didn't get a rebate.
Now I'm sorry I didn't get the 1Gig version of this card.
Pros: This is the second Biostar board I've installed, the first one was for a friend's computer that I built a few months ago, Both boards are perfect. (except for below)
Cons: If you use a fat video card like my GTX 460, it will take up too much room, most likely negating the use of all other PCI slots. I managed to seat a USB expansion card, but it was too close to the video card, covering its fan and causing vibration whenever the fan would spin up during 3d games.
Overall Review: I put this micro board in my old atx case and there is a diving board effect over the area where stand off screws can't be used. If this is the case, just be careful not to bend the board too much when plugging stuff in over that area.
Cons: DOA, don't want to wait over a week to get a replacement, which could come from the same batch.
Overall Review: I'll try another brand since they don't let you cross mail the RMA. There's got to be a better way to buy RAM.
Pros: A fantastical open world...funny...unbridled violence...does not crash my computer.
Cons: Horrible performance on my half decent machine being an AMD Dual Core@2.8, 8800gts 320 sli
No sli support
very bad stuttering when driving (Reported by many users).
Aside from the stuttering issue, the driving feel is very poor even with windows xbox gamepad
Overall Review: The recent patch offers better frames but the stuttering when driving is still there. The graphics, while not nearly as detailed as gta4, still convey an interesting world. If the developer/publisher continues to patch the game then I say buy but you need a powerful machine.
Pros: Two of these in SLI is a very powerful solution, at least under Win xp.
Cons: What's not to like. $xxx. Of course I already had one, so I can SLI. But if just buying a single card I would get 8800g 512 or the 8800 gts 512, definitely.
Pros: Yes, it's expensive compared to the AMD2 socket. I paid about $340 nine monthes ago,but i dont regret it..it's simply a supply and demand thing.
Cons: That said, AMD did have the price set a little too high. i would guess many folks switched to Core Duo rather than upgrading their 939.
Overall Review: It's a great upgrade from single core especially for new games
Pros: Fantastic, fun graphics. Good original story. Modest system requirements considering all that's going on in the game world.
Cons: none for me but some people report sound problems.
Overall Review: I have mildly overclocked mid-high system which is an AMD 2.6 dual core and 1x8800gts 320, getting great frame rates with everything on max.
Pros: Original cpu was a single core 4000. Even on single core games there's a pretty noticable improvement probably because my whole system performance in enhanced. But on newer games that take advantage of dual core it's a huge difference. Alt tab is terrific as the game seems to go into suspended animation while you do other things. You even notice the temp go down on the gpu and cpu. I've acidently found myself running two system hog games at the same time and didn't even notice.
Cons: None. This should be obvious but I forgot to set my system tweaks to default before I swapped out my old cpu. It was crash city until I temperarily swapped back to my old 4000 cpu in order to reset the values to fix the problem.
Overall Review: I kept my original bios on my Asus A8N-E motherboard. It was version 1011 which came out end of 2005. It's fine but except I got instability with the AMD dual core optimizer driver, so I uninstalled it. But new gpu drivers take care of the problems the optimzer was designed to fix, so no problem. However, the general AMD Windows driver package is somethng that ome might want to download -it works great and improved system performance
Pros: I agree with previous post. This thing really really puts my cell phone camera to shame
Overall Review: Blows up images much better than cell phone camera
Pros: My first review stated what a great replacement for onboard sound.
Cons: The newest drivers (as least as I installed them)don't work right with hardware acceleration switched on in the game DiRT... was missing the voice channel, therefore I wasn't hearing the co-pilot.
Overall Review: The installation drivers on the disk caused the same problem BUT the drivers that are dated March 20, 2006 work great with DiRT. (Hardware acceleration makes a huge difference in DiRT).
Pros: Replaces onboard AC'97 that came with my nforce4 motherboard Actually the onboard sound was good for what it was. Previous systems I've owned with onboard sound paled in comparison, but still, it's very worthwhile to use a dedicated sound card. I'm listening to my itune library and the first thing I noticed is the airy sound. It's like the bottom opened up and now breathes with my Logitech Z-2300 2.1 speakers. I thought these speakers sounded good before, but now it's a whole new sound!
Overall Review: Windows defaults to lower quality settings, you must manually change under 'device control' under creative settings to get 24 bit..no prob
Pros: It doesn't feel like a budget item...has a solid feel. Nice clamping system.
Cons: None yet
Overall Review: Newegg had really fast delivery..got it in 1.5 days
Pros: Very easy to install. The processor it replaces is the single core 4000+
I am noticing significant FPS increases even in single core games. CounterStrike source went from 51 to 62 frames per second. That's no big deal, but with Flight Sim X, the improvement is much more noticeable..in some cases a doubling of performance.
Cons: A little pricey but that's the CPU market as it is today. And Newegg is a great barometer of such.
Overall Review: WARNING!!!UNINSTALL OR SET back to DERFAULT VALUES any performance tweaks you might have made with programs such as nTune. I forgot to do that and wound up with blue screen crashes.
Pros: Good feel, attractive. You can use the included wireless mini receiver which plugs directly into any USB port, eliminating an unnecessary wire that would have had to run to the back of a PC. Hey, that's the point of a wireless mouse!
Cons: A little heavy but that's because of the batteries. Should be able to get used to it.
Overall Review: Has a segmented wheel, so you can use this mouse to play games properly. It's absolutely amazing to me how Microsoft, in this day and age, can design a mouse that uses a non-resistance wheel which makes playing some games impossible (like GRAW...a legacy of MS's non gaming past maybe?
Pros: Precise enough for me to play twitchy games. Good feel. Decent button placement.
Not for gamers. The non-resistance scroll wheel makes games like GRAW impossible to control, yes, impossible to control.
Out-of-touch engineers at MS that could only survive working for a huge company where their incompetance is not noticed.
Overall Review: The included version 5 drivers will crash the program with new Windows XP versions, so download ver 6. But note that the wheel problem is much less severe when using the Win XP default drivers.
Pros: I think the laser is great. My deceased Razer mouse had too bright a light. And this MS mouse tracks as well as the Razer.
Cons: WARNING for gamers: The packaged Intellipoint drivers crashed the program. Although the 6.1 drivers installed OK, they made the scroll wheel impossible to control in games like GRAW and others...USE the default Windows drivers. That's what worked for me.
Overall Review: 5 points against the great MS for their quirky/careless implementation.
Pros: Arrived in perfect condition, no dead pixels. Beautiful styling. Fantastic picture!
3000:1 dymanic contrast ratio is something I don't understand yet, but I think it has something to do with the mellowness of the picture. My other monitor is an excellent Viewsonic VX 922, which also has a fast 2ms response time. But its 2D image is a tad too harsh compared to this monitor, which is bold...but not too bold.
If you buy this monitor, check out stuff like the smoke effects in Dark Messiah of Might and Majic. It's like you could step out into the scene.
Overall Review: 1680x1050 on a 22 inch screen doesn't require the very best video card, but you should get a good one.
