It is memory, it works
Pros: I was watching the price on 4 gig memory sticks, and when the price became reasonable ($140 for four after rebate) I bit. I installed four to give my AMD build a total of 16 gig of memory. There have been few times when I use this much, but when I work on large 3D cad models the benefit of the added ram is apparent. CPU is Phenom II 1090t MB is Gigabyte GA-890GPA-UD3H I waited until I received my rebate before posting a review, so I can say that the memory has worked flawlwessly and I got the rebate making the price very reasonable.
Cons: My gaming friends think I wasted money by not buying less faster ram.
WIFI not working at all
Pros: It posted immediately and with the exception of the wifi it has been performing as expected.
Cons: WIFI card does not work Customer service is non-existent.
Overall Review: I built a computer using this motherboard and having integrated WIFI was important to me due to not having ethernet available away from my modem in my old house. I have not been able to get the WIFI card to appear as a device. I reached out to ASRock customer service on February 27th and have not received anything other than the automatic reply indicating that I sent in a request for support. I need this computer for my home business so want to resolve my concern without having to take this computer offline to RMA the motherboard.
Works and is quiet. Not sure what else is expected from a PSU.
Pros: Has no problem providing over 800W continuous. It is quieter than my case fans, which are not loud to begin with.
Overall Review: I am satisfied with the performance of this PSU and would easily recomend this to anybody. I was concerned with many reviews mentioning coil whine but my PSU does not have any at all. It only has the sound of airflow from the fan but this is barely audible in a normal room.
Big quiet case
Pros: Very quiet. Good options for cable management. Keeps the RGB components from lighting up my room at night.
Cons: So quiet I could hear my old PSU fan squeaking so I had to replace that.
Overall Review: This is the largest case I have ever built in and with the two main hard drives mounting directly to the motherboard it is rather empty. Build quality is excellent and it satisfies my goal of having a nearly silent PC without lights flashing everywhere. I would buy one again but doubt I will have to. I would recommend this case to anyone who wants an easy to build in case that is quiet and has the space for a larger tower.
It works and I can not hear it.
Pros: It is definitely quiet. I can not hear it running which was a goal of my new computer build.
Cons: If I am forced to nitpick there was a bit of flashing (thin plastic from the molding process - not electrical arcing) on the PSU side connectors of the modular cables. This does not affect function, it just stood out as the one thing that looked less than perfect.
Overall Review: This PSU did not have a review when I bought it, which made me a bit nervous but it has been rock solid. I would not hesitate to buy this model again.
Runs a quad core Phenom II and HD-7750
Pros: From my research, this is the best PSU in the TFX form factor. It offers more current on the 12V rail than any 400W model I have found. I would prefer the SS-350TGW, as the modular cables interfere with the 80mm fan loccation on my In-Win BL631 case. There is also no benefit to the Modular, as there are only two plugs and the wire harness is all tied into one assembly.
Cons: Modular sounds good, but offers no benefit. It results in added clearance requirements on the back of the PSU, which seems a poor choice on a PSU for SFF cases.
