Works great, beautiful picture

Westinghouse L2610NW-SP Black 25.5" 2ms(GtoG) HDMI Widescreen LCD Monitor 350 cd/m2 DC 3000:1 Built in Speakers
Westinghouse L2610NW-SP Black 25.5" 2ms(GtoG) HDMI Widescreen LCD Monitor 350 cd/m2 DC 3000:1 Built in Speakers

Pros: Best deal out right now on a 25.5" monitor. I assume this will shortly drive down all prices on competitors. With $50 rebate and $30-40 off by NewEgg, it really is great bang for the buck. Runs great at 1920*1200 on my new e8400 rig. Turned brightness down to 50, so definitely bright enough for anyone. No dead pixels. Very nice picture with no ghosting so far.

Cons: The only con for me coming from a Samsung 204T is that the height is not adjustable. It's no big deal as the height is perfect for me, but could be an issue for others. I assume DVI-HDMI cable is junk based on previous reviews and haven't even tried it. I purchased an inexpensive, high quality cable on another site.

Overall Review: My only concerns are long-term reliability as these were only announced by Westinghouse a few months ago and at the time I purchased, there were only 5 reviews on the Egg (all 4-5). I usually pick something out longer so I know it's reliable (Samsung), but the price was too good. So far I have only seen complaints/concerns as to the DVI cable & default analog setting. For what it's worth, mine arrived defaulted to digital setting and working perfectly out of box with HDMI/DVI cable. As usual, NewEgg rocks. I ordered at noon for free 3-day shipping. Shipped from Memphis to Mississippi to New Orleans and received within 24 hrs of order. Rig is homemade e8400, eVGA 8800GTS 512mb, Gigabyte p35-Ds3L, 4gb G-skill DDR2, XP

Westinghouse L2610NW-SP Black 25.5" 2ms(GtoG) HDMI Widescreen LCD Monitor 350 cd/m2 DC 3000:1 Built in Speakers

Pros: I noticed many reviews recently complaining about hdmi. All I can say is that I have had this for four months with no problems, no whine, and running at 1920 x 1200 HDMI on a new system with 8800 GTS with beautiful picture. I am using separately purchased DVI-HDMI cable from other site for pretty cheap.

Cons: Will have to wait and see as to long-term reliability in a relatively untested brand (unlike my usual Samsung). The default brightness is WAY too high for such a large screen -- this may be causing the eyestrain mentioned by some. I lowered to 50% or less immediately and it looks perfect and I have never had the problems mentioned.

Overall Review: I use this purely for gaming, especially TF2, with no problems. Make sure your settings are to digital rather than analog as DVI/HDMI will NOT work if you are set to analog and you will need to use a VGA cable until you change this setting. For all I know the included cable may be junk.. I never even tried it.
