Had a learning curve that wasn't pointed out during purchase regarding memory ***READ OPTIONAL BEFORE PURCHASE***

ASRock Fatal1ty X370 Gaming K4 AM4 AMD Promontory X370 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: Beautiful construction, the Red really looks good in my glass Crosair case with the RED fans and Crimson RX card I have installed. Easy install 5 4 pin fan headers Made a mean meatball sandwich for me last night.

Cons: Red LEDs on the board are fairly dim compared to the pictures here. Big issue that needs to be pointed out for future buyers regarding memory!!! Read Other (optional) Only 5 4 pin fan headers.....lol

Overall Review: This is the big Memory issue I found with this board. You can only use certain frequency Memory in certain channels on this board. A1 A2 B1 B2 You can use 1333-1600 in all four channels, you can only use 1600-2400 in A1 and B1, but if you use anything higher than that, you run into chancing Red Screen and Blue screen of death with Memory Management as your error codes, because only channels A2 and B2 are capable of running higher than 2400Mhz memory. I found this out the hard way after pulling my hair out trying to track down what was happening to my rig, I would assume you could try to underclock your memory to use in the other channels, but that would be like shooting your horse in the head for having sore leg.

Garbage

AIMEE USB Bluetooth V4.0 3.0 Wireless Mini Adapter Dongle for Win 7 8
AIMEE USB Bluetooth V4.0 3.0 Wireless Mini Adapter Dongle for Win 7 8

Pros: No pros about this at all.

Cons: Came by itself, weeks after I bought it. It took so long to deliver, I had forgotten I'd even ordered the thing. Best part, it says comes with a CD. Did not. And since searching for drivers for this piece of you know what has yielded no results. It was money completely wasted.

Overall Review: Very unhappy with this.

Finally after 3 years they just up and quit on me, definitely got my money's worth

Cooler Master JetFlo 120 - POM Bearing 120mm Blue LED High Performance Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators
Cooler Master JetFlo 120 - POM Bearing 120mm Blue LED High Performance Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: Extreme airflow, fantastic rubberized coating makes them virtually vibration proof. The aesthetic appeal is nice, the LED's aren't harsh, they are very soft, which makes for nice ambient lightning for my AMD thermaltake case.

Cons: They were fairly loud, but after I purchased a new case that was now on the other side of the living room, it didnt really affect me.

Overall Review: These fans are simply awe inspiring for use with radiators. They move twice the air that my other 120mm case fans from Corsair move. Unfortunately they finally just up and stopped spinning. Lights still come on, but they just don't spin. Shame. Now I gotta buy new ones, but I know for sure I will be buying two more of these, maybe three. My only wish is that these were RGB capable like my Corsair fans.

VERY irritated with the cooling

AMD FX-6300 - FX-6000 Series Vishera 6-Core 3.5 GHz Socket AM3+ 95W Desktop Processor - FD6300WMHKBOX
AMD FX-6300 - FX-6000 Series Vishera 6-Core 3.5 GHz Socket AM3+ 95W Desktop Processor - FD6300WMHKBOX

Pros: Alright, the CPU itself, phenomenal, zero issues. Runs fast. Zero Bottle-necking Pushes my R9 270x Wonderfully

Cons: This is where the bad part really overshadows the good. Runs very hot in games. Played Skyrim, with well over 200 mods, Far Cry 3, Borderlands 2, Diablo 3, WoW, Dragon Age, Thief.....all of these games I would go out and check cpu temp, and each time my heart would skip a beat, I'd imagine my graphics card getting this hot, my cpu reaching nearly 100c? No no no no no Determined the stock cooler included for this CPU is utter GARBAGE. Merely idling at 40c, and using WMP with a visualization int he background, something that should be handled with no sweat, watching the temp gadget, frikking temperatures SKYROCKETED! 81c Just listening to music? No. Not only no, but hell no. I wasn't having none of that tomfoolery.

Overall Review: It's a good thing I was replacing my FX 4130 chip, which came with a fantastic cooler. I immediately swapped coolers, cleaning the old paste off and putting new arctic on, started the beast up, and the difference in cooling capacity was immediate. Watching the CPU idle now, is around 22c. Running WMP the same as before the cooler swap, it was at 81c, now, won't even budge past 45c. Games see a nominal 55-60c, give or take 5c. I don't know who the brilliant mind was at AMD that decided they needed a squeaky toy fan for a cooling device for a 6 core processor, but this person had to have been tripping off bath salts. This kind of quality is unacceptable. I'd expect a cooling fan and heat sink like for perhaps, a Sempron single core chip. Bottom line, if you purchase this chipset, BE ADVISED to either A) Have another, more robust cooling solution on hand, or B ) purchase a cooler here to go with it. I'm sure this wouldn't be an issue with liquid cooling.
